Introduction (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of

Start with the morning routine (the day and date, the weather, Who is our
prophet and what is our religion?
Sing a warm up song with the students by their choice ex: Hokey Pokey, If you
are Happy..

The teacher tells the students:

Today well be reading a very interesting story called Zin Zin Zin a Violin.

The teacher will ask the students: who knows what a violin is?

What do we use it for?

Do you have any instruments at home? Who plays it?

The teacher will read the story book for the students while showing them the
pages of the story so they can see the visuals and keep up with their teacher.

After finishing every page, the teacher would ask students what sound does
the instrument in this page makes?

The teacher after finishing the story will ask students: what instruments did we
mention in our story?

How many instruments had we?

Where did they play their instruments?

What is an orchestra?

The teacher will explain the activities for the students, and she will send them
to their tables.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)


The teacher will give each student one empty container that has a lid, and she
will give them beads,markers,papers,scissors, and glue.
The teacher will tell the students to decorate their containers by drawing the
on the papers and them cutting it out and sticking it on their containers.
After finishing, they would put beads in their containers and close them well
and then shake them and compare between the different voices it makes.
Independent Experience(small group activity 2)
Students will have cards that has the pictures of the instruments and their
names.
Students will draw an instrument they like, and they would write the name
under it.

Independent Experience(small group activity 3)


Students will create a violin using cardboard paper that is cut out in the shape
of a violin. They will draw the details using markers, and then they would stick
the strings on it.

The high leveled students will draw the instruments and write their names; the

Closing
The teacher asks the students: what was the story we read today?
The teacher would show the students the instruments and ask them about
their names.

The students were listening for the story but some of them were not very
engaged.

Why do you think the students responded the way that they did?
It was the last part of the day and students were tired because they have
been studying for the whole day and they didnt have time to play. They were
seeing parents come in and out to pick their children so they were not
concentrating
How well did your teaching relate to the students prior
understanding?
I asked the students about their previous knowledge and what they already
know before giving them new information
How well did you engage the students?
Some of the students were engaged and some of them were not.

Students like reading stories but they had something that was annoying them
which was their need to go home and that parents were coming in and out
