Play the song of letters and ask students to sing with song.
Time: 15 min

- Ask the students to say words start with the letters (o,x,j).
- Tracing the words that starts with o,j,x and coloring the pictures.
- Writing the missing letters o,x,j of the words that starts with these letters and coloring the
pictures.
Closing
To close the lesson, children will do a simple activity which is writing the letters j,o,x in the
air, on the floor by their hands and on the small white board using markers.

Assessment
An online game to review the letters j,o,x includes different activities like: seeing a picture and choosing the
correct letter that starts with one of these. For example: a picture of octopus and three letters are shown
(c,n,o) and children have to choose the correct letter which is o according to the picture.

Reflection 3:
The lesson was for KG2. It was an English lesson about the letters j,x,o. The goal of this lesson
was to let children pronounce, write and identify the words that start with these
three letters. Children during this lesson were joyful and enthusiastic. They participated in all
the activities that I did for them. They answered correctly to the differentiated activities and I
helped some of them to do the activities but all of them were excellent. Children also behaved
well in this lesson and I used smiley faces stickers for who answer correctly and they were happy
with it. This was a way to cheer students and motivate them participate. I liked my way of
teaching and the different activities that I did. What I need to improve in this lesson is time
management because the bell rang before I end the lesson.
