Etch Primer
DESCRIPTION

Causeway Etch Primer is a dual package system containing Etch Primer Base and
Etch Primer Activator. It is specially formulated to enhance adhesion on non-
ferrous metal surfaces (galvanized, aluminum, zinc etc.), Also can be applied on
ferrous metal surfaces. It will help to adhere the paint strongly to the substrate
and act as protective substrate for further painting.

TYPICAL USES

Act as a pre-treatment primer for aluminum and galvanized surfaces.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Ensure that the surface is free of oil, grease, dust and any other
contaminants that may affect its adhesive property.

Spray a coat of Etch Primer.

Allow the paint to dry about 1 hour before applying the top-coat.

The topcoat should be applied within 24 hours.

Zinc phosphate QD Primer

DESCRIPTION

Sunny Oil Primer is a quick drying modified alkyd resin based primer which has
easy sanding properties & possesses anticorrosive property along with matt
finish surface to, top coat to adhere onto.

Quick Drying & Easily Sanding.

TYPICAL USES

Used as a primer for ferrous metals only. Not recommended for non-
ferrous metals.

SURFACE PREPERATION

Power tool cleaning to at least Swedish standard ST2 or blast clean to

Swedish standard minimum SA2.

Surface should be free of rust, mill scale oil, grease & other contaminants
prior to any painting work.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Ensure that the correctly primed substrate is clear of any dust, oil, and
other contaminants before applying the paint.

Dilute the paint to the required viscosity, depending on the type of

application method employed.

Star Class 2K
DESCRIPTION

Starclass 2K Primer Surfacer (4:1) is a two component high solid polyurethane

acrylic primer with excellent anti-corrosive properties. This can be easily sanded
with abrasive paper for a smooth finish. This will also level out minor
irregularities in the substrate and improves adhesion of the top coat.
Recommended to be used as a primer for automotive refinish & other various
industries.

APPLICATION

SURFACE PREPERATION

Use mechanical blasting or electrical sanding to remove any coated

material or oxide layers on the surface.

Remove any dust, oil and other foreign contaminants that may affect
adhesion properties by hand or power tools.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Mix the contents in the primer thoroughly before use.

Mix the 2K primer and 2K hardener together thoroughly before application.

Adjust the viscosity of the paint with the thinner to the required viscosity
depending on the method of application used.
 Allow 5-10 minutes flash off time between subsequent coatings.

Sand down using 800P & 1500P grade sand paper. After 3-4 hours.

Keep it overnight before applying a top coat.
