Genre Analysis Outline

Genre: Non-fiction. Sub: reports and position paper.

Subject: Environmental Geology

Thesis title: Turning of the Earth, The Hazards Around Us.

Focus: This paper will bring forth all the types of hazards, both natural and man made. The
reader will be informed on how to protect them selves before, during, and after a disaster. Within
this paper the reader will also be able to view report and sources of such reports. In part of the
thesis will also contain the writers position on live and building within hazardous areas.

Mid-point: By the middle of the thesis the reader shall have a full and comprehensive knowledge
on how to identify, warn others, and protected themselves/ others from hazards. The reader will
also be given the chance to review reports and findings. Theyll also be shown how some of the
bigger worldly hazards occur.

Conclusion: This thesis is a living paper, my conclusion will be presented when I daft the final
paper. This statement is due the many type off avenues I can choose from. A proper conclusion
needs a beginning middle and end to be conclusive.

APA Citation: Mind the reader that this is not a full rendering of citations being used. More on the
lines as a sample so the reader has some inclination on which way the thesis might go.
