Suggestions

Make sure all students understand and can do the writing. Some students were struggling, and
didnt seem to know how to write a paragraph.
I thought your final activity was a good differentiated activity that would show you clearly
what level the students were at. However, some of the brighter students still finished both
parts of the activity and were idle. You need to think about these possible situations. Your
idea about having them write more details was good. You could also give them and editing
checklist, so they can go over their paragraph and check that they have included all the
important elements of a paragraph with correct punctuation, grammar, spelling, etc. This is
