processes that are being done daily this includes appointments, patient
records,
accounting processes, clinic supplies and payroll which takes a long time
to be updated and to be accessed. An organized and reliable information
system is needed to handleall the daily routine and produce reports that
will summarize the activity of the businessup-to-date for the owner to
have a basis for his decision.

2. Transaction Processing (TP) Systems process data generated by


day-to-day business operations. TP systems perform a series of tasks
whenever a specific transaction occurs. Examples of TP systems include
customer order processing, accounts receivable, warranty claim
processing. New Century would benefit from TP systems because its
efficient. The TP systems process a set of transaction-related commands
as a group rather than individually. Another benefit of New Century would
be to protect integrity. TP systems ensure that if a single element of a
transaction fails, the system does not process the rest of the transaction.
New Century might use a transaction processing system for appointment
processing; its most critical day-to-day business operation.

reporting and accounting. Susan Gifford could use it to maintain
and update data base of penitent records, also transaction
processing would be helpful in securing such data base.
Carla Herrera could use it for accurate ordering and organizing of
office and clinic supply. Fred Brown can use it to prepare pay roll
and tax reporting.
Transaction processing system is integral part of every business
related system, so it can be used for many business related tasks.

processing system by supporting each other and it can take away
some of the transaction processing task, also it is useful at all
level of employees. It can be used to support customer; provide
web-based self service for customers,
for example customers or patients could pay or lookup their billing
statement online. Also it could be used for pay roll, accounting and
maintain inventory.
