Description
AFFF 3% F-25 is an aqueous film forming foam based on surface active agents.
A combination of flouric compnents,stabilisers and anti freezing compounds provides you
with outstanding efficieny levels.

Properties
Designed for generating low expansion foam its high foam density ensures you can attain
long throwing distances.
Foam is formed extremely quickly making it ideal for use in Foam/Water Sprinkler systems
also.
The high water releasing capacity favours foam formation which in turn increases the flow
rates, reduces extinction times and cools the source of the fire quickly.
Areas covered by the aqueous film and not foam will still be extinguished and reignition
prevented should the foam blanket get ruptured.
This foam is (oleophobic) oil repellant so does not load itself with petroleum products so is
ideal for sub surface foam application.

AFFF 3% F-25 safely extinguishes Class A + B fires and forms a gas tight cover on liquid
surfaces and is table on fuels with proportions of Polar additives like alcholo so is ideal for
use on Helidecks.

Applications
AFFF 3% F-25 can be used with all commonly available low expansion foam equipment and
installations for Class A+B fire fighting.
Non aspirated equipment may be used for fighting Hydrocarbon fires where the aqueous film
is active even without expanded foam.
The conncentrate is induced at 3% to water.Seawater,brackish water and treated industrial
water do not adversely affects its performance.

Compatability
AFFF 3% F-25 is suitable for use with foam compatable dry chemical powders.

Storage

AFFF 3% F-25 can be stored for long periods in the original sealed containers,plastic or
corrosion resistant steel tanks. High temperatures upto +50C do not affect the quality,
neither does temporary freezing below the recommended limmit have any undue effects on
its performance.
