Castellan, a new collection by Century Furniture, fits such homes to perfection. Its name,
appropriately, is a historical word meaning the governor of a castle. The scale, proportions and
details of this furniture are carefully balanced to harmonize with the spectacular settings in which
it will reside.
Our updated traditional designs are crafted from the finest beech veneers, and stained in our
own rich Castellan finish. Touches of physical distressing and gold-brushed accents add to the
furnitures Old World charm.

gracefully into a series of scrolled curves that culminate in a
carved shell peak. The raised center panel, framed in a
sinuous ribbon of moulding, is a field of lustrous beech veneer.

Our chest is a stunning blend of rich-grained beech
veneer and cool textured marble. Its base features one
drawer and two doors that enclose a roomy

full-bodied dark brown with lighter streaks of cocoa

that adorns the raised panels on its frontispiece.
Rounded corner posts, each enhanced with arched
cathedral window moulding and carved acanthus

marches across crown and base.

HOW TO CARE FOR CASTELLAN
CARE OF FINE FINISHES
Fine Century finishes are resistant to minor everyday hazards; however, some precautions are necessary to
maintain the beauty of your wood furniture.
Dust with a soft, clean cloth slightly moistened with water, and dry completely with
another clean cloth, always rubbing with the grain.
Avoid contact with cigarettes, hot dishes, harsh solvents such as nail polish, alcohol
and moisture.
Use pads beneath accessories and when writing or eating.
Remove spills and smudges immediately.
Do not leave pliable plastic materials on a wood surface; they can damage the finish.
Do not place furniture near heat outlets, windows, or in direct sunlight.
CARE OF DECORATIVE HARDWARE
The decorative hardware on this furniture has been protected with a clear lacquer coat. Use of harsh deter-
gents or brass polish in an attempt to obtain high luster will result in the removal of the protective lacquer
and will damage the finish of the hardware. Do not use harsh detergents or brass polish. Use a soft, damp
cloth to remove dust.
Castellan will maintain its beauty if treated with reasonable care. These simple procedures will keep

HOW TO CARE FOR SPECIALTY TOPS
To maintain the beauty of your stone and marble products,

follow the guidelines below:

Leather is a natural product produced as a byproduct of animal hides (mostly cows, steer, and water buffalo). Due to the
life-style of the animals, leather will always have natural marking such as brands, insect bites, scars, fat wrinkles, stretch
marks, abrasions, and burns. These natural markings are not considered defects but rather indication of true genuine
leather. In addition to these distinct characteristics, the leather will also tend to vary (sometimes excessively) in dye lot
coloration, much like the staining of wood products. Natural markings and dye lot variations are in no way considered
defects. It is the policy of Century Furniture to accept no returns on product for any reason where the cause is due to the
nature of this product.

5. Once you choose your resolution for the image, check the
add to basket box. Once you have added all of your
images to the collection basket click to view basket.
6. Review your selections. If everything is in your basket

then select check out.
7. Click the order images button
8. Follow the simple directions. It will download your

choice of hi-res or low-res (FPO) file to your hard drive.
File size and estimated download times are shown.
To Download Images Only Instructions are slightly different for PC and Macintosh
users. Follow the directions.
1. If you are registered to access the dealer website, please
log in to the dealer website using your existing
information. Find the gray toolbar at the top and click on
the Sales Tools drop-down menu. Then select images. This
will direct you the image library without a separate log-in.
2. If you are not registered on the dealer website, set your

browser to www.centuryfurnitureimagelibrary.com
Enter your login name and password. To obtain a

personal login and password, call (828) 328-1851 and ask
for the Marketing Department regarding the image library.
3. Once you are in the image library, either enter the desired
SKU number or item name from the catalog or click
Search Categories to browse images by collection.
