Lesson Objectives:
Students can distinguish between hard and soft hats
Students can distinguish between smooth and rough hats
Students can distinguish between red and green hats.
Students are able to match the hats to pictures

Students Prior Knowledge:


Basic understanding of the difference between hard and soft objects
Able to distinguish between the colours red and green
Pre-teaching will occur at the beginning of the lesson.

Time Lesson Structure Teaching


Resources
This lesson will be done with each 1x woollen
student one on one at the desks with hat and
assistance from the supervising teacher. picture of

Students will have 4 hats to worn
interact with during the lesson.
1x Workers
Before the students touch any of hard hat and
the hats the teacher will do some picture of

Evaluation
This lesson was a success with all of the students providing
responses to the questions, use of previous concepts (red and
green) was a good implementation. This lesson required the
assistance of the teacher aide. Will need to implement pre-
teaching in future lessons.
