4. What is wrong with the leaders outward desire to obey Gods Law, and what warning do you receive from this?

This hypocrisy of the Jewish rulers. They broke much greater commands in rejecting Gods Messiah and condemning an
innocent Man to death.

Jesus submitted fully to suffer and even die on the cross to save humanity. I am thankful of Jesus sacrifice for me to be
saved of my sins He bared all this with His life to reconcile me with God the father
7. What circumstances did God overrule to ensure Jesus death fulfilled the symbolism of the Passover Lamb?
(See Exodus 12:2-13; Numbers 9:12; John 1:29.)
In Number 9:12 during passover nothing was to be left till morning and the bones of the sacrificial lamb were not to be
broke. This symbolize the kind of death Jesus died He was crucified the day before the celebration of passover and none
of His bones were broken
In John 1:29 John the Baptist declared Jesus as the Lamb of God who will be sacrificed to save the world of sins
10. a. What did these men gain and what did they lose during the period when they did not publicly identify
with Jesus?
These men gained earthly position and recognition by the Jews leaders. But they lost proper encounter with Jesus
during His earthly mission they rejected God for fear of Human leadership
b. What did they risk and what did they gain by coming forward to bury Jesus?
They risked being expelled from the Jews temple and also being declared Jews outcasts. By preserving the body of our
Lord Jesus they gained redemption of their sins
11. What fear holds back you or a loved one from following Jesus fully, and how will you ask God to intervene to help?
Fear of condemnation and rejection. I Pray that God will intervene and lift this obstacle, to give me full courage to
follow Jesus fully .
13. Why do we bury the dead and how might this study of Jesus burial impact your daily life? (See also Romans 6:3-4;
Colossians 2:12-14.)
We bury the dead to fulfill the scripture Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may
live a new life. Having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in
the working of God, who raised him from the dead.
