List the names and responsibilities of angels and

jinns known through Islamic traditions, (Quran
and surah)

Angels:

Jibrail: the angel of revelation and his

responsibility is to communicate with all the
prophets and come down with the blessings of
Allah SWT during the night of Laylat al-Qadr

Mikail: provides nourishment for bodies and

souls and his responsibility is to bring rain and
thunder to earth.

Israfil: is an archangel in Islam who will blow the

trumpet at the end of time and according to the
hadith he is responsible for signalling the horn
for Qiyamah

Azrael: is the angel of death and he is

responsible for parting the soul from the body of
the deads.

Why did Allah reveal the divine books? Are there

only 4 divine books? If so mention their names.

Allah revealed the dvine books as a guidance and

a test to the umah. The ones who received the
books held the responsibility of protecting the
books. There are only 4 divine books. These
being:
Taurat
Zabur
Injeel
Quran

In the past, there were many more books that

were unfortunately mistreated and misused.
Time and time again they were changed
(altered). They were misunderstood and were
also edited. There is no record of the names of
these books. All we know is that the mercy of
Allah was what kept sending books down. To this
day there is only 4 divine books and all of them
since havent been changed, especially the
Quran.
