a. What is nutrition
Nutrition is the intake of food, considered in relation to the bodys dietary needs.
Good nutrition an adequate, well balanced diet combined with regular physical
activity is cornerstone of good health. Poor nutrition can lead to reduced
immunity, increased susceptibility to disease, impaired physical and mental
development, and reduced productivity.
b. Where can we get good nutrition?
Good nutrition means getting the calories we need for energy and the nutrients we
need for proper growth. And good nutrition can be obtained from the daily food
we consume, such as from vegetables, meat, fish, milk, nuts, rice and fruits.
c. What are some effects of having bad nutrition?
Poor nutrition habits can be a behavioral health issue, because nutrition and diet
affect how you feel, look, think and act. A bad diet results in lower core strength,
slower problem solving ability and muscle response time, and less alertness. Poor
nutrition creates many other negative health effects as well.

a. Predisposing factors are factors that facilitate or the behavior of someone such
as knowledge, attitude, the assurance, beliefs, values, traditions and so forth.
b. Enabling factors are the factors that enable or facilitate behaviors or actions.
The purpose of the enabling factor is infrastructure or facilities for the health
behavior.
c. Reinforcing factors are factors that can encourage and reinforce the behavior.
