THE HUNGER GAMES, whose story is based in a trilogy of young novels

written by an american novelist, called Suzanne Collins, is a kind of science
fiction movie.
The story takes place in in a dystopian post-apocalyptic future in the nation
of Panem, where boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 18 must take
part of a televised annual event in which the "tributes" from 12 districts are
required to fight to the death in a giant arena until there is only one
survivor.
In District 12, Katniss Everdeen is a volunteer, who takes her sisters place
to play in the Hunger Games. She joined by her districts male tribute, Peeta
Mellark, a baker, which help her when she was starving and exhausted in
the rain. And they travel to the Capitol under the guidance of former
victor Haymitch Abernathy.
At the star of the Game, the major of the tributes run quickly to the
cornucopia, for that, more than half of them are killed by districts female
tribute 2. So, Katniss just grabs supplies from the ground around it. At the
next day, while she was trying to escape from professional district tributes,
she is bitten by dangerous wasps, whose venom causes her terrible
hallucinations of the death of her father.
After Rue, districts female 11, helps Katniss recover from the poison, they
become friends. Then, Katniss blow up the supplies, which have been
hoarding by the Careers.
They run, but Marvel finds them, and kills Rue. But Katniss shoots him in the
heart. Later, the rules of the game are changed, to allow two winners if they
are from the same district. She searches Peeta, who was seriously hurt, after
fleeing from the Careers.
When they find a safe place, they hear an announcement that what each
survivor needs the most will be provided at the Cornucopia. When she
leaves to get the medicine for Peeta, she is attacked by Clove, but She is
saved by districts 11 male tribute.
At the next night, when they are escaping from mutts, they go to the
Cornucopias roof, where Cato is hiding, who attack them. Peeta gets
Katniss to shoot Catos hand, and Peeta throws him to the terrifying mutts
bellow, which attack him, but don't kill him. And Katniss proceeds to shoot
and kill Cato, whose dead body is devoured by the mutts.
Katniss and Peeta think they have won, but Crane cancels the new rule; so,
Katniss convinces Peeta to eat nightlock berries with her. Just before they
do, they are hastily named co-winners of the 74th Hunger Games, but the
President Snow was furious with them.
MOVIES VIEW:
The Hunger Games movie takes place in the future in a dystopian post-
apocalyptic future in the nation of Panem, located in North America. Its
ruled by the Capitol, whose technology is very advanced, is crowded by rich
people, but the other 12 districts are in state of poverty. The star of the
movie, Katniss Everdeen, who lives in the poorest and filthy region of
Panem, located in District 12, where people usually die for starvation. So, as
punishment of a rebellion against Capitol, the 12 districts must to offer 2
tributes, a boy and a girl, between the ages of 12 and 18, who are selected
by lottery must fight to the death in a dangerous arena, called hunger
games, which is a horrible televised event. The winner tribute and his/her
home district are rewarded with food, supplies and riches.
2.- CHARACTERS DESCRIPTION:
Katniss Everdeen: She is the main protagonist and the narrator of
the Hunger Games trilogy. She is a young of 16 years old from District 12.
She is pretty. She has long dark brown hair, which she normally pulls back
into a long braid, olive skin and gray eyes. She is thin and tall.
She is highly skilled archer and hunter, which she learned from her father.
Additionally, she is very quickly. She is considered as a fantastic and brave
woman.
Peeta Mellark: He is 16 years old. He has blond hair, and blue eyes. He is
no so tall, but he is surprisingly strong. He is also particularly skilled at
hand-to-hand combat, camouflage, throwing knives, and starting fires.
Further, He falls in love Katniss.
Gale Hawthorne: He is Katniss Everdeens best friend. He is 17 years old,
he has blond hair and green eyes. He is so gorgeous and so tall. Apparently,
He is over six feet tall. Additionally, Gale is an expert at snares and strategy.

3.- The moral messages of the movie The Hunger Games are:
Sacrifice is the foundations of Maturity: All relationship resolve around
sacrifice. Whether they are personal friendship, family relations, or intimate
relationships. It means, that you need to show others how important they
are to you.
