Inscrio para a VI Escola de Combusto

O evento est aberto a profissionais de empresas e membros de instituies de
ensino superior e de pesquisa, desenvolvimento e inovao, tendo como pblico
alvo os profissionais, docentes, tcnicos, pesquisadores e alunos de ps-
graduao, membros ou no da RNC (Rede Nacional de Combusto).

O perodo de solicitao de inscrio de 29 de maio a 11 de junho. As vagas so
limitadas a 100 alunos, 50 por curso, e que sero prioritariamente selecionados
conforme seguintes critrios:
1. Adeso da rea de trabalho ou estudo com os temas da VI EdC;
2. Membros da RNC e da ABCM;
3. Alunos de ps-graduao;
4. Pesquisadores em ps-doutoramento;
5. Docentes de programas afins;
6. Pesquisadores em temas afins;
7. Empreendedores afins.
8. Pblico geral;

O investimento para participar na VI Escola de Combusto de R$300.

Entretanto so isentos de taxas membros da ABCM, da RNC, alunos,
pesquisadores e docentes de ICTISs brasileiras. Para receber iseno requer-se a
submisso antecipada de um pedido de inscrio, um Curriculum Vitae e a
escolha de participao em apenas um dos dois cursos disponveis. Participantes
brasileiros membros de instituies de ensino e pesquisa, ao invs de anexar um
CV, devem apenas indicar o link para o seu Currculo Lattes. Alunos de ps-
graduao tambm devem incluir uma carta de anuncia do seu orientador.
Alunos matriculados em instituies vinculadas a RNC no precisam submeter a
carta do orientador por que a comisso organizadora consultar o representante
da RNC na respectiva instituio.

Os alunos de ps-graduao e pesquisadores realizando ps-doutorado podero
solicitar auxlio financeiro para cobrir as suas despesas de estadia, caf da manh
e almoo no perodo de 07 de agosto, segunda, sexta-feira, 11 de agosto. Esso
auxlio tambm se aplica a pesquisadores e docentes de instituies vinculadas a
RNC.

Para receber o financiamento, o aluno de ps-graduao dever submeter, no
momento da inscrio, um resumo de 1 pgina sobre o seu tema de dissertao
ou tese, entendido como um trabalho em andamento, e, se selecionado, dever
apresentar um pster durante a Escola, de acordo com formato a ser fornecido.
Os resumos aceitos sero reunidos em um documento de mdia eletrnica a ser
disponibilizado no site da RNC.

Os participantes que receberem financiamento devero ter 100 % de presena
em todas as atividades da escola.

Registration in the VI School of Combustion

The event is open to all professionals, staff, post-docs, and graduate students
working in the field of combustion.

Applications for the School of Combustion will be accepted from May 29 to June
11. The number of participants is limited to 100, 50 per course. They will be
selected according to the following criteria:
1. Adherence of the field of work or stuty to the VI EdC program;
2. Members of RNC and ABCM;
3. Graduate students;
4. Post-doctoral researchers;
5. Faculty of combustion related graduate programs;
6. Researchers in combustion related graduate programs;
7. Business owners and representatives;
8. General public.

The registration fee for the VI School of Combustion is R$300. Fee exemption wil
be issued for RNC and ABCM members, faculty members and researchers from
Brazilian higher-education institutions and public research centers.

Participants must submit an application form, a CV and must choose one of the
two 20 hours courses available. Instead of attaching a CV, Brazilian students and
researchers must provide only the link to their Lattes curriculum.

Application from graduate students must also include an endorsement letter
from his/her advisor. This is not required from Brazilian students, since the
organizing committee during selection will ask for the endorsement of the RNC(1)
liaison in his/her school.

Graduate students and post-docs (2) are entitled to receive financial assistance
that covers accommodation, breakfast and lunch from Monday, August 7th, to
Friday, August 11th. To apply for the financial assistance he/she must submit a
one page abstract of his/her ongoing work. Once accepted, the student must also
submit a working-in-progress poster to be presented during the school. The
accepted abstracts will be compiled in a Book of Abstracts and distributed to all
participants.

Financed participants are expected to have 100 % attendance in all activities.

Obs:
(1) RNC stands for Brazilian National Combustion Network.
(2) This also applies to researchers and staff from research and teaching
institutions members of RNC. Limited to the amount of financial support
available, students, researchers and staff from institutions members of RNC may
receive the plane tickets in flights selected by the organizing committee.

Regras para a participao na V EdC e para o recebimento de auxlio
financeiro
Inscrio
A participao na Escola de Combusto ocorre mediante inscrio at a data
limite anunciada.
A prioridade na escolha dos participantes brasileiros da V EdC seguir os
seguintes critrios:
1. Ter vnculo com instituio filiada RNC,
2. Demonstrar atuao na rea de combusto (a ser verificada no Currculo
Lattes),
3. Priorizao pelo coordenador da RNC na instituio do participante.
A prioridade na escolha dos participantes estrangeiros da V EdC seguir os
seguintes critrios:
1. Ter vnculo com instituio e grupo de pesquisa atuante em combusto,
2. Demonstrar atuao na rea de combusto (verificado mediante o
Curriculum Vitae),
3. Ter recebido a anuncia do seu orientador no caso de aluo de ps-graduao.
Apoio Financeiro
A priorizao para o apoio financeiro seguir os mesmos critrios usados para

selecionar as inscries.
Condies importantes:

1. Para receber apoio financeiro o aluno de ps-graduao dever submeter o
poster nas datas e formatos definidos na pgina da V EdC e dever apresent-
lo de acordo com calendrio a ser divulgado.
2. O auxilio financeiro para acomodao, caf da manh e almoo se aplica
somente hospedagem no hotel designado pelo Comit Organizador da V
EdC.
3. O recebimento de auxlio financeiro e do certificado de participao do
participante que recebeu auxlio financeiro est condicionado frequncia de
100% em todas as atividades da escola.
4. O recebimento do certificado de participao no curso de participante que
no recebeu auxlio financeiro est vinculado participao em 75 % das
atividades no curso.

Rules for participation and for receiving financial support

Registration

The participation in the Combustion School requires registration following the
deadlines announced.

The priority in selecting Brazilian participants will respect the following criteria:

1. To be a member from institutions affiliated to RNC,
2. To demonstrate active work in the field of combustion (to be verified in the
Lattes Curriculum),
3. The priority established by the RNC liaison in the participant's institution.

The priority in selecting foreign participants will respect the following criteria:

1. To be a graduate student or a post-doc researcher working in a research
group active in the area of combustion,
2. To demonstrate active work in the area of combustion (to be verified in the

applicants CV),
3. The endorsement letter from his/her advisor in case of graduate students.

Financial Support

The same criteria apply for priority in receiving financial support.

Important conditions:

1. To receive the financial support, the selected candidate must submit the
work-in-progress poster in the format and deadline provided in the home
page for the.
2. The financial assistance for accommodation, breakfast and lunch applies only
to the hotel indicated by the organizing committee.
3. To receive financial support and the certificate, the selected participant must
have 100 % attendance in all activities of the Combustion School.
4. The participant that does not receive financial support must have 75 %
attendance in the course selected in order to receive the certificate.
