Position Type: Part-time (8 - 12 hrs a week)


Availability: MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK MIDNIGHT SHIFTS (8PM 12PM)
Supervisor: Services Manager
Start Date: September 2016
End Date: April 2017
Compensation: $13 /hr

Skills:
Adapt knowledge of campus orientation, organizations, services and activities
Strong public and student service skills
Reliable, organized, professional and self-motivated
Proficient in MS Office and Adobe applications

Duties:
i. Service-delivery:
Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of all UTMSU and Student Centre services offered at
the UTMSU Duck Stop. This includes but is not limited to:
Greeting all Customers warmly
Assisting Customers with the bagging and loading of their merchandise
Retail of all Merchandise being sold at the Duck Stop
Facilitate all other services as assigned by UTMSU

ii. Resource Management:


Ensure the accessibility and accuracy of all UTMSU and Student Centre resources available at
the UTMSU Duck Stop. This includes but is not limited to:
Stocking and Restocking inventory
Responsible for keeping the Duck Stop clean and maintaining the stationery and forms in
an organized manner
Responsible for handling and balancing cash and all other financial transactions during
the shift
Administer all other services provided by UTMSU
Note: There may be other duties assigned by UTMSU. The duties could range from short to
long-term projects.
