Queridos amigos de la tecnología,

Ya se acerca la navidad con sus reuniones familiares, comida casera, y calor humano. Además, esta
es una época para agradecer las múltiples bendiciones de nuestro Señor durante el presente año. Es
así que aprovechamos este número del Boletín de Proyectos y Actividades Tecnológicas para darle
infinitas gracias a Dios por el despertar tecnológico que se hemos experimentado en el territorio
de la División Interamericana con más eventos, publicaciones, investigaciones e integración
tecnológica.Nuestra oración es que el 2009 nos traiga muchas más bendiciones tecnológicas
para la honra y gloria de Dios.

La Facultad de Ingeniería y Tecnología de la Universidad de Montemorelos llevó a cabo dos

importantes eventos tecnológicos durante el mes de noviembre de 2008: El IV Simposio de
Tecnología del 24 al 26 de noviembre de 2008 (http://simposiofit.com.mx/simposio.php) y el I
Congreso Internacional Adventista de Tecnología del 27 al 29 de Noviembre de 2008
(http://simposiofit.com.mx/congreso.php).

Se tuvieron oradores internacionales tales como Dowell Chow (Adventist World Radio), Craig
Pettersen (TAGnet), Ivo Alabe (Universidad Adventista de Bolivia), Darryl Hosford (Simple
Updates), y Michael A. Comberiate (NASA) y varios profesores y alumnos de la División
Interamericana.

En época de navidad intercambiamos gozosamente regalos a familiares y amigos. En esta navidad

demos un "regalo de voluntariado tecnológico" a nuestra División Interamericana en dos áreas de
bastante impacto: evangelización y educación. Por ejemplo, puede crear un sitio web para su
iglesia, crear una comunidad en Facebook para estudiar la Biblia, dar cursos de tecnología al pastor
y los laicos de su iglesia, etc.

Dear IT friends,

Christmas time is near with its family meetings, delicious food, and warmth. Besides, this is a time
to thank our Lord for the multiple blessings during this year. So we make use of this issue of the
Bulletin of Technology Projects and Activities to give infinite thanks to God for the technological
awakening that we have experienced in the territory of the Inter-American Division with more
events, publications, researches and technological integration. Our prayer is that 2009 will bring
many more technological blessings to honor and glorify God.

Learning!

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Montemorelos University carried out two important
technological projects during November 2008: the Fourth Symposium on Technology from
November 24 to 26, 2008 (http://simposiofit.com.mx/simposio.php) and the First Adventist
International Conference of Technology from November 27 to29, 2008
(http://simposiofit.com.mx/congreso.php).

We had international speakers such as Mr. Dowell Chow (Adventist World Radio), Mr. Craig
Pettersen (TAGnet), Mr. Ivo Alabe (Universidad Adventista de Bolivia), Dr. Darryl Hosford
(Simple Updates), and Dr. Michael A. Comberiate (NASA) and various lecturers and students from
the Inter-American Division.

During Christmas time we joyfully exchange gifts to family and friends. Let's give "voluntary
technology gifts" to our Inter-American Division in two areas of high impact: evangelism and
education. For example, you can create a website for your church, create a community on
Facebook to study the Bible, give technology courses to the pastor and laymen of your church, and
so on.

The Bulletin of Technology Projects and Activities is an initiative of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Montemorelos University, Mexico.

University has the unique and exclusive responsibility for publishing research projects and technology news.

The intention with our bulletin is to invite other higher education institutions in our Inter-American Division to join efforts in the development of
information technologies in our territory. Please send
