Compartimos una interesante reflexión referente al uso de la tecnología para la

evangelización escrita por Raquel Rios, estudiante de la Facultad de Ingeniería y
Tecnología de la Universidad de Montemorelos:

“Mateo 5:1 dice que Jesús, al ver la multitud, subió al monte. El objetivo de Jesús al subir
al monte fue lograr que todos los presentes le escuchasen. Jesús usó los medios
disponibles para tener la más alta efectividad en su mensaje. El monte era la mejor
“tecnología” disponible en ese momento para alcanzar a aquellas personas que tal
vez por la gran multitud no se le podían acercar.

Al igual que Jesús, podemos utilizar las tecnologías que tengamos a la mano para
predicar el evangelio a todo el mundo. Dios nos ha dotado de la capacidad necesaria
para llevar esta magna tarea a cabo. No necesitamos invertir grandes cantidades de
dinero comprando software o hardware costoso pues contamos con tecnologías de bajo
costo que son prácticas y nos pueden ayudar a cumplir nuestra misión.”

ahondaremos en tecnologías emergentes económicas pero de alto impacto para la
evangelización.

Reflecting!

We share with you an interesting discussion concerning the use of technology for
evangelization written by Raquel Rios, a student at the Faculty of Engineering and
Technology at Montemorelos University:

"Matthew 5:1 says that Jesus, seeing the crowd, climbed the mountain. The purpose of
Jesus to climb the mountain was to be heard by all the people. Jesus used all
available means to achieve the highest effectiveness in His message. The mountain
was the best “technology” available at that time to reach those people who perhaps
because of the large crowd could not be closer.

Like Jesus, we can use the technologies that we have at hand to preach the gospel
to the whole world. God has equipped us with the necessary capacity to carry out this
great task. We do not need to invest large amounts of money buying expensive hardware
or software because we have low-cost technologies that are practical and can help us to
accomplish our mission."

cheap but powerful technologies for evangelization.

The Bulletin of Technology Projects and Activities is an initiative of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Montemorelos
University, Mexico. In its moment, it is going to be formally presented to the Education Department of the Inter-American Division. For
the meanwhile, Montemorelos University has the unique and exclusive responsibility for publishing research projects and technology
news.

The intention with our bulletin is to invite other higher education institutions in our Inter-American Division to join efforts in the
development of information technologies in our territory. Please send
