Comunicación (ITIC) en la Universidad de Montemorelos!

La Ingeniería en Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación (ITIC)

tiene como objetivo la formación de profesionales con conocimientos,
habilidades y actitudes que les facilitan la programación, diseño,
desarrollo e integración de las nuevas tecnologías de información.

A continuación hay una descripción del perfil profesional:

El profesional que haya concluido satisfactoriamente los requisitos

para obtener el título de Ingeniero en Tecnologías de Información y
Comunicación, demostrará las siguientes capacidades y actitudes:
1. Integrador de las tecnologías de información y comunicación.
2. Integrador de hardware, software y sus procesos.
3. Programador e ingeniero de software.
4. Administrador de proyectos, procesos de información y emprendedor.
5. Capaz de aplicar los conocimientos científicos y tecnológicos en la
resolución de problemas en áreas interdisciplinarias.
6. Comunicador de ideas y propuestas en una forma óptima y con
pensamiento crítico.
7. Capaz de establecer relaciones interpersonales con empatía,
liderazgo organizacional, responsabilidad, respeto, honestidad,
tolerancia y con un sentido de servicio a Dios y a sus semejantes.

- ¡Estudie una Excitante Maestría en Ciencias Computacionales en la

Universidad de Montemorelos!

El plan de estudios de la Maestría en Ciencias Computacionales en la

Universidad de Montemorelos, México, está diseñado para que el alumno
lo pueda terminar en cuatro semestres, incluida la realización de su
proyecto de tesis. El programa está diseñado para ofrecer tres
acentuaciones diferentes: Tecnología Multimedia, Ingeniería de
Software, y Redes Informáticas.

- Proyectos de Software para la Comunidad

Dos grupos de estudiantes de ingeniería de la Universidad de

Montemorelos, México, desarrollaron el semestre anterior dos
aplicaciones Web completamente gratis para beneficiar a la juventud y
a la comunidad de la "Región Citrícola" de Montemorelos, Nuevo León,
México.

La primera aplicación es un portal para jóvenes en donde ellos pueden

encontrar noticias, videos, una comunidad virtual en Facebook, y mucho
más (http://fit.um.edu.mx/tiempojoven/).

La segunda aplicación es un portal de empleos para personas y empresas

que viven en la región que circunda el campus de la Universidad de
Montemorelos.

- Primer Congreso de la Asociación de Maestros Adventistas de Física y

Matemáticas

La Facultad de Educación de la Universidad de Montemorelos, México,

invita al primer Congreso de la Asociación de Maestros Adventistas de
Física y Matemáticas (AMAFYM) del 30 de julio al 3 de agosto de 2008.

- Comunidades Virtuales Móviles

Un grupo de estudiantes de ingeniería en sistemas de la Universidad de

Montemorelos, México crearon una aplicación móvil llamada
"Uni-Cupido" que es un servicio de citas diseñado para los estudiantes
en el campus. Este software facilita el establecimiento de relaciones
personales utilizando tecnología Bluetooth.

- Cuarto Simposio de Tecnología y Primer Congreso Internacional

Adventista de Tecnología

La Facultad de Ingeniería y Tecnología, Universidad de Montemorelos,

México, está organizando el Cuarto Simposio de Tecnología del 24 al 26
de Noviembre de 2008 y el Primer Congreso Internacional Adventista de
Tecnología del 27 al 29 de Noviembre de 2008.

Se esperan alrededor de 500 participantes de varias universidades.

Michael A. Comberiate, administrador de proyectos de la NASA, Goddard

Space Flight Center, será uno de los expositores.

- Information and Communication Technologies Engineering at

Montemorelos University Starts in August!

Information and Communication Technologies Engineering aims to train

professionals with knowledge, skills and attitudes to facilitate the
planning, design, development and integration of new information
technologies.

Below is a description of the professional profile:

The professional who has successfully completed the requirements for

obtaining the title of engineer in information and communication
technologies, demonstrates the following skills and attitudes:

1. Integration of information and communication technologies.

2. Integration of hardware, software and its processes.
3. Programmer and software engineer.
4. Project and information manager, and entrepreneur.
5. Able to apply scientific and technological knowledge in solving
problems of interdisciplinary areas.
6. Communicator of ideas and proposals in an optimal way and critical thinking.
7. Able to establish relationships with empathy, organizational
leadership, responsibility, respect, honesty, tolerance and a sense of
service to God and his or her fellow human beings.

- Study an Exciting Master in Computer Science at Montemorelos University!

The curriculum of the Master of Computer Science at Montemorelos

University, Mexico, is designed to let students complete it in four
semesters, including thesis. The program provides three different
majors: Multimedia Technology, Software Engineering and Computer
Networks.

- Software Projects for the Community

Two groups of engineering students at Montemorelos University, Mexico,

developed on the previous semester two Web applications for free to
benefit young people and the community of the "Citrus Area" at
Montemorelos, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

The first application is a portal for young people where they can find
news, videos, a virtual community on Facebook, and more
(http://fit.um.edu.mx/tiempojoven/).

The second application is a jobs portal for people and businesses

around the campus of Montemorelos University.

- First Conference of the Association of Adventist Physics and

Mathematics Teachers

The Faculty of Education at Montemorelos University, Mexico, invites

you to join the First Conference of the Association of Adventist

- Mobile Virtual Communities

A group of computer science engineering students from Montemorelos

University, Mexico created a mobile application called "Uni-Cupid"
which is a dating service designed for students on campus. This
software facilitates the establishment of personal relationships using
Bluetooth technology.

- Fourth Symposium on Technology and First Adventist International

Conference of Technology

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Montemorelos University,

Mexico, is organizing the Fourth Symposium on Technology on November
24-26, 2008 and the First Adventist International Conference of
Technology on November 27-29, 2008.

500 participants are expected to come from various universities.

Center will be one of the speakers.

The Bulletin of Technology Projects and Activities is an initiative of

the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Montemorelos Univesity,
Mexico. In its moment, it is going to be formally presented to the
Education Department of the Inter-American Division. For the
meanwhile, Montemorelos University has the unique and exclusive
responsibility for publishing research projects and technology news.

The intention with our bulletin is to invite other higher education

institutions in our Inter-American Division to join efforts in the
development of information technologies in our territory. Please send
