Evaluacin de la agresin y la inestabilidad emocional en nios espaoles: su relacin con la depresin
ABSTRACT
The present paper ilustrates the study of aggression, depression and emo -
tional istability in a sample of 579 children aged 7 to 10 measured by the Chil -
drens Depression Inventory (CDI; Kovacs, 1992), the Physical and Verbal
Aggression (FVA; Caprara & Pastorelli, 1993) and the Emotional Instability (El;
Caprara & Pastorelli, 1993). The psychometric characteristics of the AFV and
the El are presented. Both instruments are used with Spanish children for the
fist time in this country. The results show a correlation between aggression
and depression while its relation to emotional instability is mediated by age
and sex.
Depression, Emotional Instability and Aggression incidences are 7.27 %,
2.07 % and 2.59 % respectively.
