AARP offering
free tax
preparation
program
The AARP has a program in
Burlington County for seniors so
other low- and moderate-income
persons will be able to have their
2016 taxes done for free by certi-
fied tax counselors.
The Volunteer Center of
Burlington County is looking for
volunteer tax counselors and
client facilitators. Training is pro-
vided. There are 11 sites located
around the county. The sites will
be open through April 15.
Information on the location of
the sites can be found on the
AARP home page site, the Office
On Aging and most county li-
braries.
One does not have to be a mem-
ber of AARP or be a senior to uti-
lize these services or to partici-
pate as a preparer.
If interested, please contact
Linda Bennett at (609) 877-2412.
