Topic Exceptional

- Justify the DTmin selection based on type of industry (ie. Natural gas plant,
1 Determination of DTmin petrochemical etc)
- Reference of the selection is provided (ie journal, book etc)

- All hot and cold streams are identified correctly

- Data on supply and target temperatures and the CP for each stream are
tabulated in table
2 Streams selection
- Indicate the type of streams either hot or cold
- Justification if any of the streams are to be neglected ie. either reboiler or
condenser will be considered for ONE distillation and NOT both

- All important and necessary columns in Problem Table Algorithm are

available
Energy Targets (QHmin and QCmin) and Pinch -All calculations are correct
3 Temperatures via Problem Table Algorithm and Heat -Pinch temperatures are indicated (hot and cold pinches)
Cascade -Hot and Cold utility requirement, Qhmin and Qcmin are available from the
heat cascade
-Hot and Cold utility requirement without integration are calculated
