Has elementary, middle, and high school components:
High School teacher Institutes focusing on required course in Economics and Personal
Finance, including classroom and online resources; activities such as The Governors
Challenge competition and The Stock Market Game
Middle School teacher workshops focusing on Civics and Economics SOLs, including
classroom and online resources; activities such as The Stock Market Game
Elementary School teacher workshops focusing on K-5 cross-curricular economic
concepts, including classroom and online resources; activities such as Mini
Economy, Color the Economic Concepts, and The Stock Market Game
Offered at no expense to teachers or school divisions
Institute/workshop costs include instruction, curriculum, supplies, survey instruments
(pre- and post-tests), administration, technology, and catering
Accessible statewide, implemented through VCEEs affiliated
university Centers for Economic Education, at
seven Virginia colleges and universities

For gifts under $2,500, donors are recognized on website. Sponsorship of specific events,
awards, and scholarships will still be available, and recognition at those events would
reflect the sponsorship in a tiered manner. Donors will be named on the
website, grouped according to their total annual gift into the
same levels delineated above.
