Thomas Paine "Common Sense"

1) I like the content that he mentioned about the reason why people need a
government, because it let me get lots of ideas and information.

2) Young Americans are controlled easily by Britain, and to help them get money. I
think this is because they still dont have their own definite view.

3) This quote Government by kings. makes me feel that it is just a lie which
can make people obey.

4) I agree the idea he points out that a SMALL size Britain controls a BIG size
America is ridiculous!

5) He tells us that to be independent is an important thing for Americans, and

this also reminds me about the sign of America nowadays is liberty.

6) As for America, England has positive effect and also negative effect. England
wants to take things away from America; however, they also promote
Americas growth.

7) By reading the passage, I also think that there is no countries can develop by
themselves, they need to get along with other countries and get help when
needed.

8) It is very inefficient to run a government by delivering messages for half a

year!!

9) The last paragraph gives me a touch feeling that he wants citizens to raise
up.

1) I think the Constitution is like American's spirit, and it is not just a document of
basic principle of rights.

2) I have a question that how people decide the number of representatives of

each states, because the paragraph shows that each state has different
number of representatives.

3) Why do Americans like to use the units that British do not use?
4) Is there any propose that meeting of congress must set on the first Monday in
December?

5) Indians do not need to pay taxes? What is the reason?

6) It is needed to have a two-thirds vote if there are something need to be decided in

government.
7) U.S Vice president need to be equally divided, otherwise they cannot vote.

8) It is good to separate powers which can prevent power to be overuse by

some certain branches.

9) Some federal judges are over ninety, dont they need to be retired? In the
past, there are not restriction of ages?
