Methodology
The area of construction process and construction methods covers the analysis and
optimization of construction processes. It deals with general principles of building production
and construction methods, analyzing of special construction methods and identified construction
site specific requirements for equipment and construction methods. Major means of production
in the phase of construction and the associated production costs for construction are examined in
terms of a holistic approach.
Special research themes in the fields of construction processes and construction methods
are work preparation, the establishment, the organization and site logistics of complex
construction of the building, civil engineering and tunnel construction. The requirements for the
management of construction sites and the specific principles of management of construction
companies will be given a main focus in this context.
To determine the current productivity levels one will do quantitative research, the same
will be applied for questions as this has to do with facts.

2. What are the government regulations that make it difficult for construction?
2.1 How do government regulations affect the productivity growth in construction?

4.1 Why do we need to know the safety in construction?

6. How much is the productivity growth in construction in Ormoc?

7. What are the methods of improving productivity?

To get this following data we will undergo interview and survey. Second observing the
difference of the data gathered. There are ways to improve the productivity level of construction
in Ormoc City.
In construction industry there are method to be followed.
Preliminary works Design, planning, calculations, Party wall notices and
moving services if needed.
Front excavation and holding where the work place will enter
Insertion of structural beams to support the floor above
Underpinning, excavation and slab construction.
Water proofing and floor construction
New staircase
Internal fit out plumbing, Electrics, Plaster boarding, Plastering, Decoration, (could also
involve partition walls, a new kitchen, bathrooms, depending on the client the options are
endless).
