Update Instructions for Bluetooth driver

[Precaution]
Before updating the driver, you should
- Sign in as the administrator account.
- Connect AC Adaptor and fully charged battery.
- Disconnect networks (wired and wireless). (Except when you download the program.)
- Disconnect all peripheral equipment.
- Terminate all programs other than the program for updating Bluetooth driver.
- Terminate virus protection program and alike. (Restart them after finishing
updating.)

Updating Wireless LAN driver will reset the advanced properties of Wireless LAN
device in device manager to the factory default settings. (For example, 802.11a will
return to disabled.)
If the settings have been changed from factory default, please change them again after
updating the driver.

KEEP THESE STEPS STRICTLY, OR MALFUNCTION MAY BE CAUSED.

[Procedure]
1. Confirm the version of Bluetooth driver
(1) Click [Start]-[Control Panel].
(2) Click View by: [Category]
(3) Click [Uninstall a program].
(4) Check program names list.
(5) If the driver version is "Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) (patch version
18.1.1607.3129)" or "Intel(R) PRoSet/Wireless Software for Bluetooth Technology
(patch version 18.1.1607.3129)" or later, the driver has already been updated.
You don't need to execute the following steps.
If not, please execute the following steps.

2. Download program for updating Bluetooth driver.


(1) Your system using Windows 7 64bit
Download the program named "bt_v19.11.1639.0649_w7_64.exe" .
(2) Your system using Windows 7 32bit
Download the program named "bt_v19.11.1639.0649_w7_32.exe" .

3. Preparation for Update Bluetooth driver


3-1. Delete Bluetooth devices
After updating Bluetooth, you need to pair Bluetooth devices again.
(1) Turn on Bluetooth.
(2) Click Bluetooth icon in Tasktray and click [Show Bluetooth Devices].
(3) If some icons are shown in the Bluetooth Devices folder, delete them all.
(Click the icon and select [Remove device].)
3-2. Update Instructions for Wireless LAN driver
3-2-1. Confirm the version of Wireless LAN driver
(1) Click [Start]-[Computer].
(2) Click [System properties].
(3) Click [Device Manager].
(4) Double click [Network adapters].
(5) Double click [Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless- ].
(6) Select [Driver] tab, and check "Driver Version".
If the version of the driver is 18.33.0.2 or later, the driver has already been
updated. You don't need to execute the following steps.
If the version of the driver is older than 18.33.0.2, please execute the following
steps.
3-2-2. Download and extract the program for updating Wireless LAN driver.
(1) Your system using Windows7 64bit
Download the program named "wlan_v18.33.0.2_w7_64" and execute it.
Your system using Windows7 32bit
Download the program named "wlan_v18.33.0.2_w7_32" and execute it.
(2) Click [Yes] if "User Account Control" window is displayed.
(3) Read the "License Agreement", and click [Yes].
(4) Confirm the destination folder.
Your system using Windows7 64bit
Default folder is "c:\util2\drivers\wlan_v18.33.0.2_64", and click [OK].
Your system using Windows7 32bit
Default folder is "c:\util2\drivers\wlan_v18.33.0.2_32", and click [OK].
(5) Wait until files are extracted. The folder in which update files are extracted will be
automatically opened on completion.
3-2-3. Update Wireless LAN driver
(1) Right click or touch and hold the following bat file and click [Run as administrator].
(For CF-AX/LX) Pinstall_lets.bat
(For series other than the above) Pinstall_tough.bat
(2) Click [Yes] if "User Account Control" window is displayed.
(3) Wait until "C:\windows\System32\cmd.exe" window disappears and Hard disk
drive status goes off. It may take more than several minutes until the status goes
off.
(4) Restart the computer.
(5) Confirm the version of Wireless LAN driver is "18.33.0.2" or later, with the same
procedure as step 3-2-1.
(6) Confirm the settings of Wireless LAN device and change them if needed.

4. Update Bluetooth Driver.


(1) Click [Start]-[Control Panel].
(2) Click View by: [Category]
(3) Click [Uninstall a program].
(4) Open [Control Panel] [Uninstall Program].
(5) Uninstall [Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) (patch version)] or
[Intel(R) PRoset/Wireless Software for Bluetooth Technology (patch version)].
(6) Restart PC.
(7) Run the program.
Your system using Windows 7 64bit
Run the program named " bt_v19.11.1639.0649_w7_64.exe" .
Your system using Windows 7 32bit
Run the program named "bt_v19.11.1639.0649_w7_32.exe" .
(8) Click [Yes] if "User Account Control" window is displayed.
(9) Read the license agreement and click [Yes].
(10) Check the destination location and click [OK].
(11) The folder in which update files are extracted will be automatically opened.
Right click or touch and hold update_bt.bat and click [Run as administrator].
If you dont select [Run as administrator], installation is failed in spite of
appearing message at step 12.
(12) Wait until message Now PC will be shut down to complete installation. Is it OK?
(y/n) is appeared on "C:\windows\System32\cmd.exe".
(13) If the message is appeared, you input [y],[enter].
(14) PC is shutdown.
(15) Turn on computer.
(16) Confirm the version of Bluetooth driver is "Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R)(patch
version 19.11.1639.649)" or later, with the same procedure as step 1.

You need to pair Bluetooth devices again.
