There are some prepositions we can use to describe the location of places: AT, ON, IN, OUTSIDE, and
INSIDE.
Use INSIDE (dentro) or OUTSIDE (fuera) to describe something or somebodys in a specific place. For
example:
Im waiting for you inside the building.
Use AT for buildings and addresses: at university, at 101 Miraflores St., at the bank.
Use ON for names of the streets and specific physical locations:on the right, on Tarapaca St.
Use IN for large locations, cities, countries: in the neighborhood, in Lima, in the bus station
Sentences:
I study at Alas Peruanas University on Arborizacion Ave.
Jair works at Primer Puerto restaurant in Yarina district.
We use prepositions IN, ON, AT, BEFORE or AFTER to talk about time.
Use BEFORE (antes) or AFTER (despus) to give a reference of a time of an event of action. For
example:
Im doing my homework after my English class. I sleep before 10pm
Use AT for exact time: at 7:00, at noon St., at night
Use ON for days and dates: on Saturday, on July 4th, on the weekend.
Use Infor periods of time: in the morning, in July, in the summer
Sentences:
I study at 5:30 pm. I get up at 7:00 in the morning
