According to the author, there are different views of intelligence.

Scientists used to
believe that the intelligence has an underlying cleverness' which remained constant
in a person. Psychologists believed that each person has their own level of
intelligence quotient, or much known as IQ. Different intelligence is governed by
different parts of the brain which means that there are multiple intelligence and not
one general intelligence. It was stated that intelligence has a lot of separate systems
which connects to each other. There are at least seven (7) main intelligences;
Linguistic, Logical or Mathematical, Musical, Bodily-kinaesthetic, Interpersonal, and
Intrapersonal as Most of these abilities can be developed. It was suggested to
consider the essence of believing that anyone can learn in a high standard as well as
showing the ideal of environment and practicing skills. Although some people show
weakness in some area, they tend to have an outstanding ability in one.

Academic intelligence may be developed by opportunities such as access to

appropriate learning materials, enough time to develop, and being part of a group or
culture which values and motivates academic intelligence. Intelligence depends on
what is needed and relevant to a person, lectures cannot create the ideal
environment for each person as their needs differ from each other. Intelligence is an
ability to transfer the skills developed by processes and sub-skills easily when a new
task is given. It is important to find connections between the developed knowledge
and those that needs development in order to know which context to apply to the
new ones. It was stated that the way we reason depends **upon the things we are
going through and have gone through. These experiences gives the ability to think
in more logical ways. The brain is capable of change and development. Intelligence
is often developed by good study habits, strategies, and skills.
