HATTs National Fathers Day Celebration was held at Robison Terrace on Friday, June touch with you through
16th at 3:00 p.m. The ladies of Robison Terrace and Williams Homes volunteered
their time and effort to make sure that the fathers felt special by escorting them to a
lovely dinner and presented them with gifts! Thank you to everyone who participated

Hampton/Bright Resident Council celebrated summer by hosting a School
until 4:00 p.m. Community volunteers, HATT partners, outreach
organizations, and vendors came to participate in the fun! Hampton/Bright
Resident Council President, Mae Hamilton, spear-headed this event in
order to ensure that neighborhood youth had a great time. Thank you to
the members of the Hampton/Bright Resident Council, ALL of our vendors,
and to EVERYONE who volunteered their time, gave their support, and
their donations to ensure a successful event. And, remember, Hampton/
Bright Resident Council meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month!

Its that time again! Robison Terraces spring garden is underway! Thank you, Victoria Pennington, of Cigna HealthSpring who
provided four new raised garden boxes for HATTs elderly and disabled. Through Cigna HealthSprings generosity, Robison
Terrace residents have height comfortable garden boxes for the disabled wheel chair residents to tend and grow vegetables!

 Texarkana college eoc chat & snack event
On June 20th, the recruitment staff of Texarkana College and their Educational Opportunity Center
staff hosted the first Chat & Snack event for HATT at Pecan Ridge from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. Residents
were able to stop by and enjoy snow-cones, educational opportunity center services, admissions
application assistance, academic guidance, financial aid and much more! Thank you, TC, for all of
your outreach efforts to make sure that our residents can start...or start over their educational goals!

On Monday, June 26th, Rosa Golette presented a Dare To Dream Seminar at the Rosehill
Neighborhood Network Center. They discussed the importance of going after and fulfilling
your dream as well as overcoming obstacles and steps that would help you take your dream
to reality. Their special guest speaker, Amberly Shaw (Family Engagement Specialist at
Westlawn Elementary School), spoke about setting and achieving goals and about other
services that she provides for families. A big thank you goes out to all of the participants who
came and helped make this event a tremendous success!
