AEP TEST

2. The new BEO has food service on the top-left, beverage service on the bottom-left, event
timeline top-right, and kitchen needs bottom-right. Second page there is a room set up
requirements on the left and photos on the right. Last page mentions event staff in the bottom.

Balloom 3 can be a pre-reception, post ceremony area, kids room, or a food line.

6. I will tell them that I can get the confirmed, correct answer for them.
7. I will ask someone else to give the walk-in tour or ask to schedule them for a later time.

9. Get more paper towels and put it in the restroom.
10. Calmly inform the client that things will be handled so they can return back to enjoying the
event and mention it to the manager. I do not think this really is a big deal. If more than one
person was complaining, I would understand. Sometimes, it depends on if it is an open bar or
cash bar or if we specifically asked the bartender to pour a little less so that way the bottles last.
11. I reach out to the point of contact first and see what they have to say about adding extra chairs
and tables. When they approve I go run the card since there was a card authorization form on
file.
12. It depends. Phone calls would make me panic when I first started working here. Its a lot
different handling phone calls for an event planning business because things are always
changing and sometimes I am not sure who the client is or I cant hear them properly. If I have
to go ask a question and put them on hold, some people dont like it because they are in a rush.
Over time, however, Ive learned to remain calm. If someone sounds too busy I take their
question down and suggest I e-mail them the answer. This is helpful since it makes my paper
trail of the phone call and they can respond to me at their convenience.
13. I politely tell them that only employees are allowed in the kitchen and kindly suggest they head
to the front of the building to take phone calls.
14. We charge a sales tax because it is required by law. We are selling them our products and
services so we have to tax it.
