Next, you have to choose a company and provide clear and detailed description of
the organisation including the following:
name,
type of business,
vision and mission,
types of employees
employee size
You also need to support with data. That means, u can put in pie chart or graft the
number of employees in the organization based on permanent staff, temporary,
contract or part time.

pn. I want to ask about staffing. Staffing belongs to the functions of human resource
management, not the role of human resource management. But in the rubric
mention us to explain the ROLE of human resource management. Can you help me

Yes, you may select and analyze the organization that you serve. It is more easier for
you to gather the information. Staffing is part of the role that carried out by HR
Manager too.

can get the information about the type of employees- part time/full
time/permanent/contract; type of business-
manufacturing/education/Telecommunicationcomuni/Airlines and employee size-no.of
staff recruited.

It is so prefect that you select Maybank. Yes, you may explain what type of
employees at your branch - how many part time, contract or full time staff. Ignore
the vacant position or new vacancy. Type of business is banking and explain each of
the business-financing, accounting, and provide services regarding financing issue
and loan.
Regarding the size of employees, you need to give the figure how many are the
employees at your branch. The number of staff recruited,- Total number of the staff
including top level management.

You must come out with at least 3 suggestions on how human resource management
can better manage globalization, changes and human resource development in the
selected organization.
For example, if you highlight the challenge is in terms of staff differences such as diff
culture, language and etc. So, in order to manage it better, may be you can suggest
for a culture training or other types of training to have better understanding and
managing those differences. The same thing goes to other challenges. You must give
clear justification for each recommendation.

First of all, may I know where you want to write about the graduate program at
Maybank? This part -recommendation must related with the issues/challenges faced
by the HR.

Actually this start from rubric 3 , which is Globalization, Managing Changing and
Human Resource development. But I just sent the text in the wrong part of the
forum.
Human resource development, which is helping their employee to develop
knowledge, skills, and talent. Maybank provides many of graduate programs such as
Go Ahead program, apprentice program, internship program and much more. Can I
explain the definition of this challenges, and related it to that program which is
helping our staff to increase productivity in their working environment.
1 more question is, in the recommendation, can I write about how to improve career,
and technique to improve human resource management, such as Leadership,
mentoring, education climate assessment, analytical problem solving and
teamwork, and much more, cuz I think it related to developing knowledge, skills, and
talent.
For summary, you must highlight roles of human resource management, analysis of
challenges and recommendation. At least come out with 4 paragraph. Means, each
paragraph for each rubric.

if a choose a hospital as the company to investigate, the hospital got many facilities
across Malaysia should I just pick one of the facilities in my assignment? or I need to
consider the whole management of the hospital.

This rubric requires you to explain the challenges of HRM. So, you must explain
based on the globalization, managing change and HRD.
For example, the first challenge is globalization. If u are HR person, what are the
challenges faced by you? Challenge in terms of differences or several of employees
come from different countries. As HR person, you have to make sure that you can
handle the differences and at the same time managing documentation such working
permit, visa and etc.

Hi Puan Dayang,
I had checked the topic 1 for the particular globalisation, but theres are only 3
mentioned in the module.
Hi pn, Globalisation might be difficult when various of culture come from different
country, and It needs the manager to handle it, probably they can arrange an initial
meeting before the globalization. Other than that, they can also launch the training
program related to the issue of globalization.
My question is, do we need to elaborate each point and relate it to our company, or
we just can explain the Globalisation meaning, objective and explanation? and same
for another challenge such as managing change and human resource development.
Because I only explain about my company in the first rubric. Please correct me if
I'm wrong. TQ

Yes, you need to elaborate and relate it to the selected organization. You must
explain the challenges with your examples/ justification.
The contents of rubric 1 is only about the background of the selected organization
(based on the requirement given)
