WHEN IS IT DUE TO COME OUT?

We would all like to know if J.K. Rowling will write a new Harry Potter book. She has been
denying that, but the more she denies it, the more fans believe in a sequel. More about that and about the
characters she likes and doesnt like, you will find in our article.
In a postscript to a new story posted on her Web site www.Pottermore.com, J.K. Rowling offered
some thoughts on the dangerous appeal of Draco Malfoy, a sworn enemy of Harry who looks like a
member of the Hitler Youth.
Despite Malfoys obvious horribleness, Rowling says that the ladies love him and shes
concerned. I have often been annoyed by the girls who fell for this particular fictional character,
Rowling wrote. Draco has all the dark glamour of the anti-hero; girls can romanticise such people, but I
had to tell them, rather severely, that Draco was not hiding a heart of gold under all that sneering.
Although Rowling herself keeps saying that it was all supposed to be over seven years ago, it
seems that she cant escape her creation. Or doesnt want to.
Even Daniel Radcliffe, the actor who plays Harry Potter himself, reported that Rowling told him
that she would be hanging up her wand. Im sure she will be writing other books, but I can pretty much
guarantee Harry will not be a feature film again, he said.
But Rowling was missing certain characters in flowing robes and floppy hats wielding sorcery.
The one I miss the most, beyond any character, is Dumbledore, she said. He was a strange character
because I always say that I wrote him from somewhere in the back of my brain. He would often say
things I didnt know I believed. But once I saw that Dumbledore had said them, I thought, Oh yeah
thats right, thats true.
After that, we began to hear more about Harry Potter. In 2013, new films were announced. In
February of this year, Rowling said Hermoine should have married Harry, not Ron. In October, she let
fly on some secrets of Dolores Umbridge.
Very recently, I met a girl in a shop, Rowling told a reporter. She was in her early twenties,
and she came up to me and said, May I hug you? And I said yes, and we hugged. And she said, You
were my childhood. Thats an amazing thing to hear.
