Progress during the fortnight (from01/06/2017 to 15/06/2017)

In this period mainly i have learned about process of industry and quality checking of the
materials because when i visit company customers I should aware of that what kind of products
they are making with which material .

OPERATION:

1)SLITTING: converting the bog coil into small coil is called slitting.

2)SHARING:converting the big coils into sheets is called sharing.

These are the operations done in industry

QUALITY CHECKING:

STEP1:

RM INSPECTION: if there is any damage complaint to the host or source through mail or pics their
survey will come and check and replace their product.

STEP2:

GRADE ANALYSING: In this we are going to check the material grade by thermo scientific to know is that
source area send the material according to our need.

For eg: JT range :NI<1% JT

NI<2%JSLU

NI<4%JSL ETC

These kind of % will decide the grade

STEP3: COIL REPORT

NARRAOW SLIT: here we have to take care about the width tolerance and thickness ,is the both of
things are as per customer need or not.

WIDER SLIT: diagonal ,diameter, thickness etc these kind of things will take care

STEP4:
DISPATCH BLOCK: Online packing, online checking of material

STEP5:

Place in FG(finished goods) block.

After learning all these process iam moving from Chennai to Bangalore to visit industries to know
the requirements of Bangalore industry area customers

This time main target of Jindal stainless steelway ltd main target:milk diary plants.
