Organic food production is an alternative for consumers who prefer pesticide-free foods, synthetic fertilizers
and high nutritional value. The use of organic substrates has gained great importance for several reasons.
From the economic point of view, its use has been fostered by organic agriculture, since it is a response to the
improvement in agricultural practices. The objective of the present work was to evaluate and compare the
study of tomato production in greenhouses, by fertilization with organic fertilizers such as: compost tea as
organic fertilizer, optimization of irrigation for tomato with vermicompost, and the study of production of
Tomato in greenhouse with earthworm humus as substrate. The results obtained in the mentioned studies
allow us to conclude that compost tea, compost and vermicompost can be considered as very efficient
alternative fertilizers for organic production in greenhouses because they contain soluble nutrients that can
supply plant nutrition and improve tomato production in As to fruit weight, polar and equatorial diameter,
yield, among other aspects. The application of these fertilizers can be considered as an alternative for organic
production under greenhouse conditions, because the production obtained is acceptable for this crop.
