Emergency overview Combustible liquid and vapor. Harmful: may cause lung damage if swallowed. May be irritating to
the eyes, skin, and respiratory system. This product is not considered to be a carcinogen by
IARC, ACGIH, NTP, or OSHA.

Skin Prolonged or repeated contact can result in defatting and drying of the skin which may result in
skin irritation and dermatitis (rash).
Inhalation Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray. Aspiration of mineral oil dust may cause lipoid
pneumonia.
Ingestion Harmful: may cause lung damage if swallowed. Small amounts of this product, if aspirated into the
lungs, may cause mild to severe pulmonary injury.

4. First Aid Measures

First aid procedures
Eye contact Hold eyelids apart and flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical
attention if irritation develops or persists.
Skin contact Remove contaminated clothing. Wash off skin with soap and water. Get medical attention if
irritation develops or persists. Wash clothing separately before reuse.
Inhalation Move to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Call a physician if symptoms develop or
persist.
Ingestion Have victim rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Do not induce vomiting without medical advice. If
vomiting occurs naturally, have victim lean forward to reduce risk of aspiration. Do not use
mouth-to-mouth method if victim ingested the substance. Induce artificial respiration with the aid
of a pocket mask equipped with a one-way valve or other proper respiratory medical device.
Notes to physician Keep victim warm. Keep victim under observation. Symptoms may be delayed.

In the event of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes. Move containers from fire area if you
can do it without risk. Use water spray to cool unopened containers. Wear full protective clothing,
including helmet, self-contained positive pressure or pressure demand breathing apparatus,
protective clothing and face mask.
Ensure adequate ventilation. Keep people away from and upwind of spill/leak. Surfaces may
become slippery after spillage. Do not touch damaged containers or spilled material unless
wearing appropriate protective clothing. Keep out of low areas.
Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. Runoff may pollute waterways.
Eliminate all ignition sources (no smoking, flares, sparks, or flames in immediate area). Stop the
flow of material, if this is without risk. Dike the spilled material, where this is possible. Prevent
entry into waterways, sewers, basements or confined areas.
Large Spills: Dike far ahead of liquid spill for later disposal. Absorb with earth, sand or other
non-combustible material and transfer to containers for later disposal.
Small Spills: Wipe up with absorbent material (e.g. cloth, fleece). Clean contaminated surface
thoroughly. After removal flush contaminated area thoroughly with water.
Never return spills in original containers for re-use. This material and its container must be
disposed of as hazardous waste.
Do not handle or store near an open flame, heat or other sources of ignition. Do not use in areas
without adequate ventilation. Do not smoke. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Spilling onto the
container's outside will make container slippery. All equipment used when handling the product
must be grounded. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Keep away from heat and flame. This material can accumulate static charge which may cause
spark and become an ignition source. The pressure in sealed containers can increase under the
influence of heat. Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Keep out
of the reach of children.

Provide local and general exhaust ventilation to effectively remove and prevent buildup of any
vapors or mists generated from the handling of this product.
Wear safety glasses; chemical goggles (if splashing is possible).

Use of protective coveralls and long sleeves is recommended. Use of impervious boots is
recommended.
If ventilation is not sufficient to effectively prevent buildup of aerosols or mists, appropriate
NIOSH/MSHA respiratory protection must be provided.
When using do not smoke. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety
practice. Wash hands before breaks and immediately after handling the product.
