George Orwell.
Years before the conflict began, many Syrians complained of the repression of President
Bashar al-Assad's government. In March 2011, a group of teenagers who had painted
revolutionary slogans on a school wall in the southern city of Deraa were arrested and
tortured by the security forces. The fact provoked prodemocratic protests, inspired by
the Arab Spring. The security forces opened fire on the protesters, killing people. By
July 2011, hundreds of thousands were protesting nationwide demanding al-Assad's
exit.

The UN special envoy for Syria indicated on May 2017 that the parties to the conflict in
that country agreed to meet in June to start a concrete negotiation that would lead to
pacifying the country. All parties agreed to commit to an expert, firm and concrete
level. Also announced that all the actors agreed to hold a 7th round of UN-sponsored
talks in Geneva in June.
Iran opposes to the attack. Iran "strongly condemns" the military action, said the
spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of that country, Bahram Qasemi, to the
news agency semi-oficial ISNA."We strongly condemn any unilateral military action
and missile attack in Syria by the U.S. Navy and we believe that such actions, that use
the excuse of a suspicious chemical attack on Khan Sheikhoun in Idlid (), only
strengthens the terrorists who were already weak and adds to the complexity of Syria
and the region. Tehran strongly supports Assad's regime. Iran is in an alliance with
Russia in support of the Assad government.
A solution to solve the conflict between Syria and the United States is that the United
States does not business in Syria's conflicts with the excuse of wanting to solve the
country's problems, United States intervention is leaving more dead than usual and this
can cause a World war. And on the part of Syria, is to make a treaty with the enemy
countries so that them cannot intervene in any way in the internal conflict of the country
and likewise Syria will not have to intercede or attack the countries of this Treaty.
