I sat this afternoon in my quiet office without direction for this post, a short dream
kept coming to my mind. About ten days ago in dream, I saw my pink purse, and a hand
wrote on it in big black letters one word, UNDERMINE.

Now it kind of drives me crazy when Holy Spirit speaks a personal word to people and
they try to make it your word also. Though, I confess I have done the same thing to
others in my journey of walking in the prophetic. So I guess in a way, this is my
disclaimer since in the dream it was my purse...I thought this was just a personal word.

Here is what has happened. About a month ago my husband and I were at an estate
sale, while backing out of a tight squeeze, we bumped into the bumper of a car. Within
five seconds, this tall man comes to our window and looks over at the other car and says
he cant really see any damage, shrugs his shoulders and says, its a Mercedes (implying
that makes it some how ok to just leave). We did the right thing. Then last week, we
went grocery shopping, and while I was loading up the trunk with our groceries, I had
this thought, I wonder if the check out clerk saw this item on the bottom rack of the
cart? I looked at the receipt...she missed it. We did the right thing.

I shared these personal examples as visual aids to explore what I now believe to be a
larger picture as I took a closer look into this dream.

For instance, the word UNDERMINE means to excavate beneath, to subvert in an
underhanded way, to weary, weaken as to undermine the influence or health of
someone. Then there is to frustrate, sabotage, dumb, dull, cripple or demoralize. You
can see undermine in action in the two above-mentioned events of my husband and I.

Next, lets look at the meaning of PURSE, which is a pouch, to carry money or available
resources or to contract into wrinkles (make a face). There is also the phrase purse pride
or purse proud, which is arrogance due to the possession of wealth. And in the Navy, a
Purser or Paymaster has charge of the accounts. I also think that a purse has a larger
implication if you consider what a purse/wallet contains, which is our identification,
forms of communication, access to resources and more. Our enemy wants to subvert
who or what we lean into for identity and resources.

Now the color PINK has many positive and negative ways to be interpreted, such as
representing something or someone as moral or immoral...a heart of flesh verses a
heart of stone. (Pink is made of red and white, the blood of Jesus and purity).

And a BLACK MARK is a symbol used to record failure or bad conduct.

Also while writing this, my thoughts are on John 10:10. THE THIEF COMES ONLY IN
ORDER TO STEAL AND KILL AND DESTROY, I CAME THAT THEY MAY HAVE AND ENJOY
LIFE, AND HAVE IT IN ABUNDANCE (TO THE FULL, TILL IT OVERFLOWS). AMP.

So my thought in writing this is to SEE WHAT FATHER IS DOING. While our enemy is out
looking for black marks as legal accusations...keeping score against us, God is busy
building His kingdom; His heart is to strengthen and support us, to restore, revive and
build us up.

The Lord is calling us to go deeper and draw closer in our relationship with Him, our
enemys response is to try and undermine that call through challenging us to make
stony heart choices. Ezekiel 36:26 says:

AND I WILL GIVE YOU A NEW HEART, AND I WILL PUT A NEW SPIRIT IN YOU. I WILL
TAKE OUT YOUR STONY, STUBBORN HEART AND GIVE YOU A TENDER, RESPONSIVE
HEART. NLT

If then in any way, you can identify or recognize the influence of undermine in your life,
shift your gaze from the enemys shell game and rejoice, for it is A SIGN THAT YOUR
HEART IS BEING TRANSFORMED. Join me in the following proclamation.

Father,
I come before You and proclaim Your goodness!
That my life is abundant and filled with joy!
I cry thank You for a close and intimate relationship with You.
I declare strength in every arena in my life.
You are faithful, devoted and loyal!
Father, You encourage me in sonship, which is my identity.
I declare You are the light of the world and I am part of that light.
I roar I am healed.
I shout that I have a new heart, a heart of flesh!
I proclaim I am purified, identified and mobilized in You.
So be it!
