Dear Chairperson Aguinaldo and Asst. Commissioner Garcia,

We refer to your letters dated 17 May 2017 and 29 May 2017 relative to
the proposed in-person Mediation at Singapore on 14-15 September 2017.

Foremost, we would like to thank your good office for sending us a list
of authorized representatives to be sent as observers to the proposed in-
person mediation, should the COA'S evaluation of the Systra claims be
completed in time for said mediation.

We have been informed by the Department of Transportation (DOTr)

that they have so far complied with submitting the requested documents for
the evaluation on 9 June 2017.

In this regard, and in order to determine if and when the Republic can
fully commit to an in-person mediation at Singapore, may we request a
personal meeting with you, preferably on 22 lune 2017 (Thursday) at 2 p.m.
at your good office.

We expect your usual prompt response on the matter.
