By differentiating you can get more out of several kind of students and this will help you as mentor to take your
class to a next level
Some subject here that we teach in school are very abstract and you will never find it in Suriname, like volcanos.
3. Effective visualization of By using icts like YouTube videos (anatomy of a volcano) or creating a volcano eruption in the classroom will
abstract concepts through increase the perception of students and better understanding the lesson

4. Using icts for prior knowledge By using kahoot or socrative you can be efficient and effectively help students who have problem with
test like kahoot and socrative understanding some subject. If such a student is not open to come himself by the teacher, this tool can give the
teacher a hind about the student his prior knowledge.

5. being creative in using icts can The interest of student in a subject can be increase by using different icts to explain or by engaging students
increase the interest about a groupwork. After explaining a topic, students can get some creative ideas to make a blog or video about same
subject topic in their school, environment of somewhere in Suriname

6. ICTs used to connect teachers, There are many ict-platforms that can be used to build a better communication process betwee teachers and their
parents and students together, students but also teachers and the parents. This will helps students asked something the want to know or a
also afte school hours, example: problem they have during a lesson. Parents can also be in contact with the mentor of their childs class to be up-
WhatsApp, Facebook, Outlook to-date about the results, test, behavior or other kind of information they need. Even if teachers see that one of
their students is absent for more than 2 days the can be simple in contact with the parents using these platforms.

7. Use of google suite Google provide many of the Ms office applications online. This helps the teacher to easily make their lessonplan
online and share this with other colleague. It will be easy for students to share their paper with the teacher and
the teacher can provide online comments, when the parents can also involve in this for better results of their
child.
