Last week we looked at the Garden, the Kingdom and the reward of wages YHVHs
servants will receive. We also looked at the Restoration or Re-Creation process,
connecting Deut 7:12 with Gen 1:1 through the Aleph-Tav, Who is Yshua the Messiah.
This week we will look at the difference of hearing and seeing and the prophetic
meaning of Mount Gerizim and Mount Ebal from an End Time perspective, highlighting
the timeframe called the Winepress, the Thousand Year period prior to the establishment
of the New Heavens, New Earth and New Jerusalem.

See the Word of YHVH

Deut 11:26-28 See, I am setting before you
today a blessing and a curse: the blessing,
when you obey the commands of your
Elohim which I command you today; and
the curse, if you do not obey the commands
of your Elohim, but turn aside from the
way which I command you today, to go
after other mighty ones which you have not
known.
Ancient Israel was a culture of the ear, not the eye. As there is no Biblical Hebrew word
for obey, shema was used instead, indicating that we must listen to the voice of the
Almighty with the intention of being obedient. The definition of the word see does not
mean physically observing with your eyes, but a discerning sort of sight. The command
to see means to not only open your eyes, but to open your mind. It means to grasp
reality in the fullest sense.

1
See is the word reeh har meaning to behold a vision or to envision, and also to
consider a matter, to understand or comprehend or to regard or contemplate, to
be seen or appear, as well as to show or be shown something. In context, it means
to look after or provide and to bring about or cause us to experience either evil or
good. We should understand that kind of obedience:
Brings prosperity;
Produces spiritual transformation, and;
Progresses the believer to the point where he realizes the highest blessing
is doing good to someone else (mitzvah - good works).
Reeh is spelt: Reish r aleph a hey h .
Resh is the head, beginning or leader.
Aleph means the ox and so is strength and/or master, that also represents
YHVH.
Hey is the window and means revelation, associated with the Spirit of YHVH
(Spirit of Truth).
There are several meanings from this word picture:
The beginning of strength is revelation.
We are led by YHVH through His Spirit of Truth.
The applied revelation of Truth will change you to become a strong leader.

The numerical value of Reeh is 206, Resh is 200, Aleph is 1 and Hey is 5 and relates to
the following words:
debar meaning word, dabar or to speak.
arah, which is to curse
bedar meaning to scatter.

In these verses, YHVH is saying that, if the sons of Israel dont obey the Torah, He has
spoken a curse to scatter them. If we do not obey His Word, YHVH will turn His Face
from us, as He did our fathers:
Jer 18:15-17 But My people have forgotten Me, they have burned incense to
what is false, and they have stumbled from their ways, from the ancient paths, to
walk in bypaths and not on a highway, to make their land become a ruin, a
hissing forever everyone who passes by it is appalled and shakes his head. I
shall scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I shall show them the
back and not the face in the day of their calamity.
Those who repent and turn back embracing His wisdom will see the sun.
Ecc 7:11 Wisdom is good with an inheritance, and an advantage to those who
see the sun.

2
See the sun is the Hebrew phrase: reeh ha
shemesh, which means to see the light. This
means that if we are wise and obey His Torah, we
will see the light, with light meaning truth and
Torah meaning truth as well. This gives us the idea
that YHVHs light can increase exponentially; you
will receive more truth if you obey the truth, which
will make the truth increase exponentially in your
life. That is why YHVHs wisdom is infinite because
His truth is exponential and never ending and you will need more than an eternity to
comprehend it all.
Last week we looked at the concept of hearing, where YHVH
said in Deut 7:12: because you listen to these judgments,
and guard and do them This Torah Portion focuses on our
sense of sight, starting with the opening words in Deut 11:26
:Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse, and
the focus moves from hearing to seeing.
Before we continue, we just need to understand the difference
between hearing or listening to something, compared to
seeing something. When you listen to someone speak or enjoy a piece of music, you
have to wait until the person is finished with his story, or until the musical performance is
finished to hear all the information presented before making a comment or verdict. Our
ability to hear and retain information, is a slow process and we need time and patience to
listen and receive the full message. This is why information needs to be repeated before
we fully understand it. The Word of YHVH is received and comprehended in this way, a
slow process with a lot of repetition. The Torah Cycle, repeats YHVHs Word over and
over again, year after year, until we have received and retained enough information to be
able to understand it, and act on it in a balanced way.
The visual is totally the opposite; where an enormous
amount of information can be presented in an instant. All
the information is presented in a very short time,
revealing all the detail within one picture. This is a more
effective means of communication because our minds
work with images, and store information in this way. It
can take a thousand words to describe one picture but if
you meditate on a picture, all its messages can be
revealed over time. This is how visions and dreams
work; YHVH usually uses bizarre imagery that causes
you to think. Some dreams contain opposing images that do not belong together. An
example of this is Peters vision of the unclean animals (including snakes and reptiles),
he was ordered to slaughter and eat. This was opposed to YHVHs Word and caused
Peter to meditate and pray to find out what it really meant. If you take this image on
face value, you will not receive the right message because the truth will only be revealed
if you take the time and search for it. Another form of imagery YHVH uses to
communicate to us is through word pictures. This is when you understand the
meanings or pictures behind every Hebrew letter.

3
The main visual message is created when a word or words connect these pictures
together, each letter representing a picture. Meditating on the meanings of these word
pictures, in relation to the meanings of that word and the context of the passage it is
found in, will reveal YHVHs wisdom. The key is to take time to pray about and think
upon these images to understand the bigger picture.
The key to understanding visual information or to see (re-eh) what YHVH wants to
reveal, is that you must have a knowledge of the Scripture, hearing (shema) the Word
first, before you will see (re-eh). The other key is to know all the Biblical and Hebraic
culture, idioms and all the symbolism, connected to each Hebrew letter.
In this Torah Portion as well as in the Book of
Deuteronomy, YHVH places the focus on the
visual aspect of our learning process, because
we have heard His Word and have some
foundational understanding. YHVH asked
Israel to behold or see the blessings and
curses that are placed before them, as
symbolised by Mount Gerizim and Mount Ebal.
YHVH divided Israel into two camps (Prophetic
of Exe 37s Two Sticks). Six tribes on Mount
Gerizim represented the blessings, and the remaining six tribes on Mount Ebal
represented the curses. It was as if YHVH wanted Israel to see what He had already
revealed to them through Moses by a more effective way of communication, as the
imagery would have caused them to think about what they saw, and then connect the
two. Conveying information this way is very powerful, and that image of Israel on these
two mountains was etched into their minds for the rest of their lives. The word re-eh is
in the singular, and that implies that YHVH dealt with each person individually, even
though they were assembled in thousands. This gives us insight into why YHVH uses
dreams and visions to speak to individuals and uses words to communicate to the
masses.

The Father Sees

If we do not obey His Word, YHVH will turn His Face from us, as He did our fathers:
Jer 18:15-17 But My people have forgotten Me, they have burned incense to
what is false, and they have stumbled from their ways, from the ancient paths, to
walk in bypaths and not on a highway, to make their land become a ruin, a
hissing forever everyone who passes by it is appalled and shakes his head. I
shall scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I shall show them the
back and not the face in the day of their calamity.
But if we repent and turn He will see our affliction:
Exo 4:31 And the people believed. And they heard that YHVH had visited the
children of Yisral and that He had looked (reeh) on their affliction, and they
bowed their heads and did obeisance.
A clear understanding of this concept can be found when Abraham takes Isaak, the son
of promise, to offer him as a burnt offering, as instructed by YHVH.

4
Gen 22:6-8,14 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on
Isaac his son. And he took the fire in his hand, and a knife, and the two of them
went together. And Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, My father! And
he said, Here I am, my son. And he said, See the fire and the wood! But where is
the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said, My son, Elohim does provide
for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering. And the two of them went together. 14
And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day,
In the mount of YHVH it shall be seen.
After the provision of the ram for the burnt offering, we read in verse 14 Avraham called
the place YHVH Yir'eh [ Adonai will see (to it), Adonai provides] as it is
said to this day, "On the mountain Adonai is seen.
The Mazorites vowel pointed it to read YHVH Eereeh for YHVH Sees.

Deut 11:26-29 Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: 27 the
blessing, if you obey the Commandments of YHVH Y OUR ELOHIM which I command
you today; 28 and the curse, if you do not obey the Commandments of the YHVH
Y OUR ELOHIM, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go
after other gods which you have not known. 29 Now it shall be, when YHVH Y OUR
ELOHIM has brought you into the land which you go to possess, that you shall put
the blessing on Mount Gerizim and the curse on Mount Ebal.
In Deuteronomy 11:26-28, the word today and YHVH Y OUR ELOHIM are both found
three times. The number 3 in Hebrew means Covenant and relates to the following
words through number 3s gematria:

ab meaning Father
eb meaning fruit and greenness of healthy plant.

Today has to do with the establishment of YHVHs Covenant, to re-connect mankind,

those who bear fruit, back to the Creator Who is the Originator (ab) of all things (Ab =
Abba = Father). Last week we discussed the concept of working in the Garden
(Vineyard) and receiving a reward or wage (ekev). The reward is for those who tended
and watered the garden, allowing it to bear fruit. They are the good servants who will
receive the ultimate reward, YHVH (Father ab). YHVH told Abraham in Gen 15:1,
prior to making the covenant with Him, I Am your exceedingly Great Reward.

Today in Hebrew is the word yom , meaning day (24 hour), day (opposite of night),
to be hot, time period, days, year, lifetime. Yom in the context of this Parashah refers to
this day and has a prophetic significance pointing to a future time period referred to as
the day or the Day of YHVH. This Day is the climax of the ages, also referred to the
End (Tav), the time when all of YHVHs plans and restoration processes will be fulfilled,
accomplishing what He set out to do right from the Beginning (Aleph).
All of these things are being done through the Aleph-Tav, the Beginning and the End,
Who is Yshua the Messiah.
Mal 4:5 See, I am sending you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the Great
and Awesome day of YHVH.

5
Zeph 1:14-15 The great day of YHVH is near, it is near, and hasted greatly,
even the voice of the day of YHVH: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. 15
That day is a Day of Wrath, a day of distress and trouble, a day of waste and
ruin, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,

Elijah is made up of the title, YHVH Elohim, (Yah connected to El ) .

Whenever you read the title YHVH Elohim, it relates to the First Witness Elijah (El +
Yah), whom YHVH will send before this Great and Awesome Day in the End Times, he
will prophesy and reveal the true Messiah.
Moses is telling individuals to have the spiritual eyes to see that there will come a day
in the future when the blessings or curses will apply to you all of Israel, as symbolised
on Mount Gerizim and Mount Ebal. Gerezim , the Mountain of Blessings has the
gematria of 260 and relates to the following words:
arg-ev-awn meaning purple, the colour of royalty.
yek-am'-awm meaning let the people rise
yer-ay-mah'-ee meaning elevated
kaw-mawr meaning priest
keh-rem meaning vineyard, garden

These words relate to last weeks Torah Portion where we looked at the Garden or
Vineyard, where YHVHs Bondservants work and receive a wage. They will be elevated
and become part of His Royal Priesthood, receiving all the blessings that pertain to the
Covenant people of YHVH.

Ebal means stone or bare mountain, which is the Mountain of curses and have
the gematria of 112 that relates to the following words:

asnah meaning, I shall be hated

bin-yawn meaning, building, structure
ben-as meaning, be angry
book-kee meaning, wasteful
daw-khak meaning, to press, oppress
khay'-dek meaning, thorn, to prick
yeh'-keb meaning, winepress

These meanings relate to the lazy servants who did not tend the Garden (Vineyard) of
YHVH. They rely on man-made structures and systems rather than YHVHs Ways, and
they are pricked by the thorns of the Hedge, as they test and break the safe protective
boundaries of YHVHs Commandments.

6
Winepress is the word yeqeb meaning to excavate; a trough (as dug out);
specifically, a wine-vat (whether the lower one, into which the juice drains; or the upper,
in which the grapes are crushed):fats, presses, press-fat, wine(-press). Yeqeb is first
used in Scripture in Deuteronomy chapter 15 explaining the reward (ekev) of being a
Bondservant.
Deut 15:12-14 "If your kinsman, a Hebrew man or woman, is sold to you, then
he shall serve you six years, but in the seventh year you shall set him free. "When
you set him free, you shall not send him away empty-handed. "You shall furnish
him liberally from your flock and from your threshing floor and from your
winepress; you shall give to him as YHVH your Elohim has blessed you.
The lower wine-vat (humble) produces the juice of the grapes used for
wine that is associated with festivities and celebrations of joy, like a
Marriage Feast. These are the Bondservants of YHVH represented by
Mount Gerizim.
The upper-vat (proud) is where the grapes are crushed and pressed,
and is associated with trials and tribulation. These are the lazy
servants of YHVH people represented by Mount Ebal. These are the
ones who will not be elevated (gathered / rapture) but rather go
through the time called the Winepress mentioned in the Book of
Revelation:
Rev 14:17-20 And another angel came out of the Temple which is in heaven,
and he also had a sharp sickle. Then another angel, the one who has power over
fire, came out from the Altar; and he called with a loud voice to him who had the
sharp sickle, saying, "Put in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters from the
vine of the earth, because her grapes are ripe." So the angel swung his sickle to
the earth and gathered the clusters from the vine of the earth, and threw them
into the great winepress of the wrath of Elohim.
The Winepress is the time when the Harvest will be finalised, when the Angel will come
with a sharp sickle and complete the Wheat Harvest (Feast of the Harvest Shavuot).

7
This is when the final crushing of the wheat (tribulation) will happen, and the seed will
be gathered to be placed in the storehouse, leaving the chaff behind for the time of the
Winepress. The timeframe of the Winepress within the context of the End Times and the
Second Coming of Yshua, is the time immediately after the Great Tribulation, the time
associated with the 1000-year Peace.
Placing this timeline on a Menorah Pattern reveals |< Great Tribulation >||< Restoration >|
the balanced truth regarding the end time

the Body of Messiah entrapped by the System of
Babylon. This causes Her to commit adulterous
acts, identifying Her as Gomer, the prostitute,
consisting of many daughters. Gomer has a
Mother known as the Whore of Babylon. She is
found prior to the time of the Great Tribulation. On the
right is the Woman who is the refined Bride of Messiah
who cleansed Herself from all the abominable things found
within Babylon. She is an overcomer and is found in the time
after the Great Tribulation as well as after the time of the
Winepress.
The next two branches identify with two Cities; the one on the left is the city of Babylon
that entraps YHVHs people prior to and during the Great Tribulation. This City will
eventually be destroyed towards the end of the Tribulation (Rev 18:2). On the right is the
City of YHVH, the New Jerusalem that will come down to the renewed earth after the
1000-year Winepress.
The next two opposite branches represent two Wars; the first is called Armageddon that
will happen towards the end of the Great Tribulation (Rev 16:16). The preceding
passages of Revelation 16:14 imply that the purpose of this gathering of kings in the
"place called Armageddon" is "for the war of the great day of YHVH, the Almighty". The
second War is called Gog and Magog, the war that will happen at the end of the 1000-
year period after HaSatan is released. The first war is fought by human armies and the
second war is fought by YHVH as described in Zec 14.
The middle branch is the most important and is associated with the Day of YHVH. It is
as if the day, or time period of the Great Tribulation, functions as a prophetic preview of
what will happen during the day, or the time period of the Winepress. The Winepress
period is 1000 years long and has a balanced truth symmetrical pattern that can be
represented on the Menorah Pattern as well. On either side of the beginning and the end
of this yom or time period there are two resurrections, the resurrection of life and a
resurrection of damnation.

8
The First resurrection is the resurrection of the |< 1000 Year - Winepress >|
righteous dead and the gathering of the righteous
living (Bride Luke 14:14. 1 Thes 4:16).

HaSatan Bound
the 1000-year period there will be the Second
Resurrection of the unrighteous dead, and they will

and Jews
encounter YHVHs judgement as part of the chaff.
The next branch represents the two groups of people
who will be left behind on the earth after the
gathering of the Bride at the First Resurrection. The
earth will be desolated and these people will live on the
earth during this time called the Winepress (Mount Ebal),
while the Bride will celebrate the Marriage Feast with the King,
(Mount Gerezim) and rule over them for this time period of 1000
years.
Q Who will be left on the desolate land, associated with Mount Ebal (stony bare
mountain).
These are the people, consisting of both worldly and religious, who will not part of the
First Resurrection and the Gathering, and will not killed during the time of the Great
Tribulation. I believe that these will consist of unbelievers, people who never heard the
Gospel message, Jews who did not accept Yshua as the Messiah and lastly, Christians
who were deceived, and did not comply with Rev 14:12; they that keep the
commandments of YHVH, and the faith of Yshua (Rev 14:12).
The next branch on the left represents HaSatan who will be bound for 1000 years after
the System of Babylon is destroyed. Opposite this branch is when HaSatan will be
released to deceive those who live on the earth at that point in time. Remember the
Bride became Judges or Rulers over these people. These nations separated into two
camps, those living in Jerusalem, who repented and accepted Yshua and His
Commandments, and those who will be deceived by HaSatan, who will attack those in
Jerusalem (Zec 14). Both these are represented by the two branches on the right ..
The middle branch is the most important branch and the outcome of why the Winepress
exists; it is to prepare the people who live during this time to be ready for the Fruit
Harvest, associated with the Feast of Ingathering, that relates to Sukkot or the Feast of
Tabernacles (Zec 14:16).
At the end of this Winepress period, HaSatan will be released to deceive those living on
the earth. Those who will be deceived by Him will go up against those who became set-
apart, who gathered in Jerusalem. The rebellious unrighteous inhabitants of the earth
will try to destroy those in Jerusalem, led under the command of HaSatan (Serpent), but
YHVH will send His Second Angel with the power over Fire from the Altar, and he will
destroy those who surrounded Jerusalem with fire, burning up the chaff that was left
over after the Wheat Harvest and the Fruit Harvest (Winepress).

9
Zec 14:1-4,6-9,12-14,16-17 A day of YHVH is coming, Jerusalem, when your
possessions will be plundered and divided up within your very walls. 2 I will
gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured,
the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile,
but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city. 3 Then YHVH will go out
and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle.
4 On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and
the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley,
with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south.
6 On that day there will be neither sunlight nor cold, frosty darkness. 7 It will be
a unique daya day known only YHVHwith no distinction between day and
night. When evening comes, there will be light.
8 On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half of it east to the
Dead Sea and half of it west to the Mediterranean Sea, in summer and in winter.
9 YHVH will be king over the whole earth. 10 The whole land, from Geba to

Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be
raised up high from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner
Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses, and will remain
in its place. 11 It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem
will be secure.
On that day there will be one YHVH, and His Name the only Name. 12 This is
the plague with which YHVH will strike all the nations that fought against
Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their
eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.
13 On that day people will be stricken by YHVH with great panic. They will seize
each other by the hand and attack one another. 14 Judah too will fight at
Jerusalem. 16 Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked
Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, YHVH Tsevaot
(Almighty), and to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles. 17 If any of the peoples of
the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, YHVH Tsevaot
(Almighty), they will have no rain.
What is described here happens at the end of the 1000-
year period, when HaSatan is released. Verse 1-3
describes the nations coming against Jerusalem to fight
against its inhabitants. Verse 14 reveals that Judah (the
Jews) will be in the City and fight against the nations
surrounding it. Verse 9 show us how these nations will
be defeated and that is when Melech YHVH Tsevaot,
King YHVH the Almighty, Commander of His Armies, will
devour His enemies with fire from heaven, as confirmed
by the Angel with the power over fire, mentioned in Rev 14:17. There will be survivors
after the battle (by YHVHs grace), and they will worship the King every year, celebrating
the Feast of Sukkot (Tabernacles), with the inhabitants of the City (Verse 16).
Verses 4, 6-8, and 10 describe attributes of the New Jerusalem confirmed by John in the
Book of Revelation:

10
Verse 4: YHVH will stand on the Mount of Olives
and it will split in two to create a valley. Yshua
will return the same way He ascended, standing
on the Mount of Olives - Acts 1:12, Luke 24:50-
52.
Mount of Olives is also known as Olivet, that is
za-yith in Hebrew, which means olive tree
and olives and comes from the root word zif, which means brightness.
2 Thes 2:8 And then shall the Lawless One (Appopia) be revealed, whom
the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with
the brightness of his coming:
The Lawless one is the Anti-Messiah who will be revealed on the day the real
Messiah, Yshua, will descend and stand on the Mountain of Olives (za-yith) and
destroy him with the brightness (zif) of His coming. This will be a spectacular
event when the Mount of Olives will split in two creating a Great Valley. That day
will be when all the nations will see Him as the King. This will happen at the end of
the Winepress (1000-year period), during His Third Coming.
Verse 6: The City will have no need for the sun and there will be no more night
because the Glory of YHVH will illuminate it and the Lamb will be the source of
light Rev 21:23-25.
Verse 8: Water will flow from Jerusalem, and crystal clear Living Water will flow
from Jerusalem, from the Throne of YHVH and of the Lamb Rev 22:1-2.
Verse 10: Jerusalem will be raised up. The New Jerusalem came down and
settled on a high Mountain, there will be no other high places except the Mountain
of YHVH Rev 21:10.
These overlayed passages of Zec 14 and Rev 21 gives
us the detail of what will happen prior to the Third
Coming of Yshua, when the New Jerusalem will come
down from heaven and His Kingdom will be
established on the New restored Earth. This will be just
like it was in the beginning, before sin, when YHVH
dwelled with Adam (humanity) in the Garden, in the
cool of the day (Gen 3:8).
