Enter value 'IFL' in MeasPointObject and 'I' MeasPtCategory, then press Enter.
Enter values in MeasPosition, Description, Characteristic and Code Group, then press Enter.
(Note: Characteristic should be chosen from the pull-down menu using Group
MEASPOINTS. The Code group is always IPF ).
Click on Save button
Carry out the steps for creating local language description for Measuring Points only if you

Enter the characteristic in the Characteristic field and click on the Descriptions tab.
Enter current date in field "Validity on' (do not press Enter).

Input MaintPlant.
Verify that the field 'Cost Centre' , 'Company Code' are not input fields.
Planning Plant is the Plant responsible for planning and scheduling work. For Distribution
several Plants may share a common Planning Plant.
Input 'Main WorkCtr' by clicking on the pull-down list and searching by Plant.
MAN - (functional location category from 1 to 3) and click button "Install with Data Transfer"
L&D - (functional location category Z) and click button "Install with Data Transfer"
Select to inherit all data from functional location except the following which should be from
the equipment: ABC Indic., Mn.wk.ctr., Cat. Prof.
Click on Back arrow.
Enter date and time of installation if required (or accept default values).
Click on Enter.
Verify that all data selected for inheritance has been correctly transferred.
Carry out the steps for Multi-lingual texts only if your business will be using local language
shop papers.
Select the Language you wish to use and enter the local language description.
Press back. Click "yes" button to save the changes.
Save Equipment
If already logged on with a Role (old), log off.
Then logon to Role (new) <GAME023>
Enter transaction code IK01 in command field and press Enter.
Enter value 'IEQ' in Measuring Point Object and 'I' Measurement Point Category, then press
Enter.
Note: this unit test script is used to create EQ measuring point required for quantitative
reading; thus, use of characteristic is required
Enter values for 'Upper range limit' and 'Lower range limit'.
Click on Enter.
Save the Measuring Point.
Carry out the steps for creating local language description for Measuring points only if you
log on in English and use local language shop papers.
Enter Transaction Code IK02 in Command Box and press <Enter>
Enter the characteristic in the Characteristic field and click on the Descriptions tab.
L&D - Steps 17, CS01-01 and IB01-01 may be skipped if your business does not use BOMs.
Please 'Pass' all skipped steps and enter N/A in 'Expected:' section.
In 'Material' enter the number for the Assembly created earlier. (Do not press Enter).
Enter 'Plant'.
Enter 4 in 'BOM Usage'.
Enter 01.01.2005 in 'Validity From' and press Enter.
In line '0010' enter 'Component' and 'Quantity' for first line item.
Verify that populated 'ICt' is the same as specified in the data spreadsheet.
Repeat Steps 6 and 7 for each of the remaining Components.
Save the BOM.
Enter transaction code IB01 in command field and press Enter
In line '0010' enter 'Component' and 'Quantity' for first line item.
Verify that populated Item Category for the Material Component is the same as specified in
the data spreadsheet.
Repeat Step 3 for all Material Components in data spreadsheet.
Follow menu path: Equipment> Functions> Active <-> Inactive> Deactivate to deactivate the
equipment.
Save the Equipment.
Verify that 'Document Status' and 'User' have been correctly populated.
Enter 'Description'
Enter 'AuthorizationGroup' where required.
Verify that document displayed is the correct document and close the
screen.
For L&D enter a Group name in accordance with the naming convention shown in the Test
Details.
In 'Profile' use the pull down list and select the profile appropriate to the Plant.
in 'Key Date' enter 01/01/2005.
Click on Enter.
In 'Group Counter' enter the Description in the box succeeding the Counter number.
Enter 'Planning Plant'
Note: For Distribution the Planning Plant may be different from the Maint Plant.
In 'Work Center' use the drop down and select the work centre most appropriate to the
task.
This Work Centrer will default into the Operations.
Verify that 'Usage' and 'Status' have both defaulted to 4.
If not enter 4 in each field.
Click on 'Operation' button.
Under 'Operation Description' enter a short text description for Operation 0010.
Max 30 characters.
Under 'No' enter the number of workers assigned to Operation 0010.
Under 'Duration' enter the length of time in hours allocated for Operation 0010.
Click on Enter.
In 'Equipment' enter the number of the Equipment for which the Task List is required.
(For E2E scenario use the Equipment created earlier).
In 'Profile' use the drop down list and select the Profile appropriate to the Plant.
Click on Enter.
Create 3 operations.

Verify that percentage utilisation (PCt) and activity type (ActTyp) have defaulted from the
Work Centre.
Select and highlight first two operations, and click on 'Components' button
In 'Link Category' use the drop-down and select 'Functional Location Links'.
