The Kiwi family went to an ANZAC memorial in


Auckland. Then they adventured to an awa (River) as
a reminder of where Mr. & Mrs Kiwi first felt aroha
(Love) for one another.

Mrs. Kiwi bolted to the Beehive for a meeting with the
Prime Minister. Meanwhile, Mr. Kiwi, Kahi and Kahu
bounded to the bach for a barbeque by the water.

On the Mori New Year, Matariki, the Kiwi family
watched the stars at night from the top of a maunga.
After visiting the Marae, Kahi and Kahu listened to
the story of how Maui fished up the North Island.

On a day trip the Kiwi family went for a long tramp
through the bush, here they saw the nikau palm
tree, the southernmost palm tree in the world. On
a flagpole the New Zealand and Mori flags waved
in the wind.

Flax is a native plant to New Zealand, it has long, stiff, upright leaves and dull red flowers.
