End Term Jury Brief

Faculty Brief 40 Marks

Students are required to present a Folio along with a CD containing the best works of the student done throughout the
semester under the guidance of the teaching faculty. Best works to be selected, digitized, and saved in the form of a
power point presentation with proper labeling of the topic and mediums used in the graphic. The CD has to be properly
labeled with the batch ID and name of the student.
The faculty is hereby requested to collect the CDs from the students and submit it to the Batch In charges on/before the
day of the examination.

A) Requirements for the compilation for document : 30 marks
A very systematic and organized topic wise compilation of the sheets are necessary. A collection of original works have to
be prepared and submitted to the jury for end term evaluation.
Size of work
All sheet sizes have to be A3, with topic neatly labeled, date and signature of the teaching faculty.

Number of sheets specified per topic is given below. Students are instructed to adhere
to it very strictly.

Introduction to line & form 4 best sheets


Line exploration exercises with reference from photographs- 2 best sheets
Gesture drawing of fruits and vegetables - 2 best sheets
Free hand drawing of pottery and simple objects - 2 best sheets
Memory drawing of simple objects - 2 best sheets
Exploration sheets for different mediums- ink, charcoal, pencil-2 best sheets
Rendered drawing of fruits and vegetables with pencil, charcoal ,ink 2 best sheets
Rendered drawing of pottery and other objects with pencil, charcoal, ink - 2 best sheets
Compositions of multiple objects done in pencil/charcoal/ink - 3 best sheets
Nature study- 4 best sheets
Introduction to perspectives- 6 best sheets
Perspective drawing in open environment/visual references(1/2/3 point)- 2 best sheets
Intangible aspects of drawing- 2 best sheets
Isometric drawings 3 best sheets
Any other sheet which teaching faculty recommends as an excellent work, done by the student and
signed by faculty

B) Display of work: 10 marks

Students are required to display any two of the sheets mentioned below, (not to be included in the
document). Please ensure the sheets are selected carefully and represents the best capacity of the student.

1. A rendered perspective drawing in nature or from visual reference


2. A rendered graphic from the topic intangible aspects of drawing
3. A rendered composition of objects.
