Statement of Purpose

Doctorial study is a significant milestone in the perpetual journey to education and the best
exposure to this would be an eligible platform to prove the skills and knowledge that I have
learnt. With due reverence to the department and the university, I pen down a "statement of
purpose". This statement is an attempt to project my credentials as an aspiring researcher, my
achievements as in chemical engineering graduate, my interest in this doctoral program and my
ambitions.

I am Completed my Masters(M.Tech) in chemical engineering at Guru Gobind Singh

Indraprastha University under Dr. neeru anand . my master college has laid primary
emphasis to fundamentals both theoretical and practical on a wide range of subjects, which
gave me a thorough understanding of essential features of the subjects and substantial
motivations for research.I have done my graduate in chemical engineering from mjp
rohilkhand university bareilly.

My Masters research focuses on catalytic cracking of oleic acid in the presence of various
catalyst i.e ZSM-5,MCM-41 .I had a good experience in catalytic cracking process. I
presented a paper in CHEMCON-2014, 27-30 DEC 2014,Chandigarh,Punjab on the topic of
Investigation Of Oleic Acid Catalytic Cracking In A Fixed Bed Reactor To Produce
Transportation Grade Liquid Fuel and ICRABR-2015, 25-28 February, Kapurthala ,
Punjab Kinetics Of Oleic Acid Catalytic/Non Catalytic Conversion Of Oleic Acid As A
Model Of Non-Edible Oil.

All throughout my graduate and master career, I have equipped myself with participation in
various technical symposiums attended seminars and have done projects across a spectrum of
fields. I believe that an interdisciplinary learning that I have strived to acquire, has taught me to
look for answers and overcome challenges.

My immediate degree objective is an M.Tech in chemical engineering a rapidly evolving field

with an immense potential for research. I wish to follow it up with a Ph.D, to pursue a career in
research and experience the excitement and satisfaction of being at the forefront of this vast
expanding field.

Being a hardworking and committed student, I am certain that I will be able to cope with the
rigors of an International curriculum with ease. My determination to succeed and do well will
enable me to be among the better students of your college. I would therefore be grateful if I am
given the opportunity to be a part of this internship program. I am confident that this exposure
will help me to gain a lot of knowledge not only subjective but also help me in thinking
analytically in identifying a problem and trying to come out with different approaches to solve it.
