206 GLASS DECORATION 207
t is no wonder to make pictures with tiles; however, it really is really a great wonder to make a classical picture of such a large
size. Stepping into, one feels in the holy church of the ancient Greek time.
208 GLASS DECORATION 209
The hand-painted tiles are selected to decorate part of the wall, which is more creative compared with wall painting and wall
picture.

212 GLASS DECORATION 213

Glass decoration
Glass in the common sense refers to a hard, brittle, and transparent
amorphous solid with excellent optical property by transmitting,
reflecting and absorbing light.
It has long been used as a construction and decoration material. The
Byzantine Church, built 1000 years ago, is decorated with glass Mosaic
on the wall, floor and ceiling; the religious architectures of gothic style
built in the medieval time take stained glass as walls. In modern time,
glass becomes an indispensable material in construction and interior
decoration. Recently, many new types of glass are being produced by
adding other materials or being treated with specific processes to
satisfy the improving demand of people.
214 GLASS DECORATION 215
This is the interior of a gymnasium. The glass wall is printed with patterns of sporting man, making people immersed in the
atmosphere before doing sports.
216 GLASS DECORATION 217
The wall is made of glass panels, adding transparency of the interior. Moreover, the regular patterns on the glass panel are
designed artistic.
218 GLASS DECORATION 219
The green frame makes the glass panel wall brighter.
220 GLASS DECORATION 221
This is the interior of a jewellery store. The wall is painted green, corresponding to the glittering marble floor.
222 GLASS DECORATION 223
This is the interior of a store. Glass panels with silver patterns are selected to decorate the wall, making a glamorous interior,
especially under the shining light.
224 GLASS DECORATION 225
This is the interior of a club. The transparent glass encloses a dreamy space full of romance and elegance under the soft, pink
light.
226 GLASS DECORATION 227
The glass walls dominate most of the space, creating a gorgeous interior by inviting the multiculoured lights in.

232 GLASS DECORATION 233
This is the interior of a restaurant. The glass painted with delicate patterns is selected to decorate the counter wall, with the whole
space being seen through it.
234 Mosaic 235

Mosaic
Mosaic is rather popular nowadays for its small volume in size and
richness in colour. In addition, Mosaic can be easily combined to form
diversified patterns to decorate the corners, the curved surface and
columns in a space.
236 Mosaic 237
The seemingly disordered patterns are more enjoyable visually compared with the irregular ones. Besides, the beige colour
warms up the whole space, chic and cozy.

he Mosaic wall makes an idyllic interior; the scattered Mosaic of white colours on the floor seems falling off from the wall.
238 Mosaic 239
The wall is partly decorated with Mosaic of various colours forming a dynamic picture of leaves and flowers.
240 Mosaic 241
The entire wall is covered with Mosaic glittering under the light, simple yet splendid.

The entire wall seems being covered with wallpaper at the first sight, but actually it is Mosaic.
242 Mosaic 243

246 Mosaic 247
This is the interior of a washing room. The Mosaic of white, coffee and grey colours are combined together, forming simple yet
elegant patterns. In addition, the neutral colours create a tranquil space.
248 Mosaic 249
This is the interior of a washing room. The classical colours of white and black perfectly suit each other; simple patterns beautify
the whole space.
250 Mosaic 251
The combination of white and black is never out of fashion even in the ever changing world. The black Mosaic wall contrasts
sharply with the white facility.
252 Mosaic 253
The blue Mosaic and the white lavabo supplement with each other, injecting freshness and naturalness inside. This is the interior of a washing room. Mosaic of warm tones occupies the entire wall, inviting warm air in.
