IN THE FIELD
Every camera records, however the internal
recording often is too compressed for professional
applications where post production editing and
grading is required. Preserve the quality by recording
from the sensor at up to 3.2 Gbps Raw or 1.8 Gbps
Video direct to 422 10-bit ProRes or DNxHR. At the
same time confidently monitor in Rec709 or HDR on
the calibrated screens using the built in waveform,
focus peaking, false color and other scopes.
Playback the recorded footage on screen or out to
larger monitors for instant collaboration with clients
and directors and start the editing decision-making
by tagging favorites that are carried forward
to editing.

IN THE STUDIO
The visually lossless edit friendly nature of the
recorded footage means that files can be simply
docked and dropped onto the timeline of your NLE of
choice. Tagged footage from the field (favorite/reject/
color correct etc) appears as XML files as do in/out
cue points.
Workflow
The Sumo / Inferno / Flame series are also an
incredibly affordable solution for HDR grading with
input from your Mac/PC, color calibration capability
using X-Rites i1DisplayPro and 10-bit HDR
capability.

OVERCOME DSLR LIMITATIONS

(30min limit, ProRes, Audio)

Transforms DSLR and mirrorless cameras into professional

cameras, bypassing internal limitations such as lossy MPEG
recording, 4:2:0 color accuracy, 8-bit color resolution and

capture HDR for delivery of SDR/HDR today and archiving Log
for HDR delivery in the future. The challenge is that the limited
HDR monitoring solutions on the market for in-field and in-
studio are priced much higher.

PROFESSIONAL GAME CAPTURE

Live capture of Gaming from PCs and consoles needs to be done

externally to reduce the load on the internal CPU. The problem
is that current solutions are both low resolution low bit-rate and
require cumbersome PC/MAC software.

Atomos is a great solution for game capture allowing up to

4Kp60/HD 240 recording to edit friendly ProRes to fast track
turnaround time for distribution to the Internet and with 10-bit
quality to preserve high quality gaming graphics.

COLOR ACCURATE CALIBRATION

All monitors drift in color over time, which is why all high end
monitors have calibration. To overcome this weve partnered with
calibration leader X-Rite to allow their i1DisplayPro to calibrate
our monitor-recorder range.

With peace of mind on the color front, simply tap the screen to
bring up focus peaking, 2:1/1:1 zoom, Zebra, False Color, Frame
guides, SMPTE Safe Area, Waveform, RGB parade, Vectorscope,
Anamorphic de-squeeze and a flexible 3D LUT implementation
to upload your own LUTs as .cube files.

HIGH BRIGHT MONITORING

Traditional monitors lack the brightness to be used with

confidence on outdoor shoots without the need for a sun hood.
The 19 Sumo at 1200nits and the 7 Inferno/Flame series at
1500nits are up to 4 times the brightness of conventional field
monitors making it a great choice for gimbals, steadicam and
directors monitors, delivering a crisp 4K image without the
viewing angle restrictions of a sun hood.
