The Storm in Texas
Last couple days, the tropical storm was happening in southeastern Taxes. It was starting
last Friday on August 25, 2017, nearly Corpus Christi, Texas. The storm was continuous go
down southeastern Texas. The storm has been flooding house, street, and stories. The news
report said at least ten people die on that day. They do not have exactly how many people die and
injury because they still working on rescue people. The cause of the storm is the sky has too
much moisture. Matthew Kelsch is a hydro-meteorologist at the University Corporation for
Atmospheric Research in Boulder said, the storm will continue in several days. The rainfall in
Harvey, Texas on August 27 was 20 inches. Jeff Weber is a meteorologist for the University
Corporation for Atmospheric Research. He predicted that the rainfall could be from 8 to 15
inches more. It also looks like southwestern Louisiana will be affected by the storm too. New
Orleans may have rainfall up to 10 inches. This storm is terrible. It affects to people living,
environmental, economic and animal living. I think all the states near taxes should prepare or
prevent the storm coming.
