NARRATIVE REPORT ON
NUTRITION MONTH CULMINATION
JULY 31, 2017

Health is Wealth is one of the common saying and one of the most important
thing in ones life. Adult and children should know the importance of correct food to eat,
balanced diet and the food nutritive value in order to have a good health and live longer.
Nutrition Month is an annual campaign held every July to create awareness on
the importance of nutrition among Filipinos. The theme for this years celebration is
Healthy Diet, Gawing Habit FOR LIFE.
Matina Aplaya Elementary School held a culmination program last July 31, 2017.
During the culmination, there were parents participated in preparing and cooking food
for the children in their individual classrooms. There were also some activities made,
such as Food Display and Milk Drinking Contest participated by selected Kindergarten
and Grade 1 pupils.
Part 2 of the celebration was a short program wherein there were intermission
numbers given by the selected pupils of different grade levels, inspiring messages from
our Principal, Mr. Dominador A. Dagohoy and from Master Teacher Nyline E. Gerolaga.
The awarding of the winners of different contest made was acknowledged.
As TLE and School Feeding Coordinator, I am so thankful for the cooperation and
support given by the teachers, pupils and parents that made the celebration a successful
one.
