You are on page 1of 1

(1) AnimationPatterns-list

(2) Create&Update
(3) apply Pattern
(4) analyse keyframe
&nextpage&First select a composition and click the "Create&Update"
button to create an "AnimationPatterns"-layer (This layer needs to be
in your composition permanently for the script to work so don't delete
it)

Now you will have all the AnimationPatterns(easing types) of the layer
in your "AnimationPatterns-list" on the palette.

Select one or more keyframe(s), choose a pattern from the list and
click "apply Pattern" (the pattern influences the animation, that
comes after the keyframe you applied it to. So always select the
starting keyframe of the motion you want to change)

If you select a keyframe and click "analyse keyframe" the

AnimationPattern that is used for this keyframe will be selected in
the "AnimationPatterns-list"
&nextpage&You can change every pattern by editing the slider-effect in
your "AnimationPatterns"-layer (Best way to do this is by showing the
value curve in the timeline graph editor. These changes will effect
all animations you used the pattern for)

Create new patterns by just duplicating one of the slider effects in

the "AnimationPatterns"-layer, swap it to the end of the effects-list,
rename it and edit it however you want(Just be sure that the first
value at 0 seconds is 0 and the last value at 4 seconds is 100!)

Click "Create'n'Update" to update your "AnimationPatterns-list" and

the new pattern will appear in the list.
