9.2. Bring along Anatomy dissecting instruments ( minimum 1 set for each group )
9.3. Bring along Lab. Manual, Anatomy atlas and ( if necessary ) anatomy lecture
materials
9.4. Wear the required Laboratory dress properly
LEARNING OBJECTIVES :
PROCEDURES :
1. Discuss among the group bones of the thoracic cavity ( cavitas thoracis ).
How many bones make the thoracic cavity ? Look for their parts
2. Discuss among the group how to divide mediastinum into superior mediastinum
mediastinum superius ) and inferior mediastinum ( mediastinum inferius ).
3. Identify at the cadaver the mediastinum. Look for :
3.1. Superior mediastinum ( mediastinum superius ).
3,2. Inferior mediastinum ( mediastinum inferius ), consists of :
3.2.1. Anterior mediastinum ( mediastinum anterius )
3.2.2. Middle mediastinum ( mediastinum medius )
3.2.3. Posterior mediastinum ( mediastinum posterius )
4. Discuss among the group : where is the location of the heart ?
5. Identify cover of the heart. Look for pericardium.
5.1 Percardium parietale
5.2 Pericardium viscerale
Discuss among the group : what is pericardial friction rub ?
6. Discuss among the group:
6.1. Imaginary axis of the heart ( cardiac axis, axis cardiacus )
6.2. What is the influence of axis cardiacus to the position of the heart
6.3. What is the influence of axis cardiacus to morphology anatomy of the heart
7. Identify the external part of the heart at the specimen . Look for :
7.1. Anterior/sternocostal surface of the heart (Facies anterior/sternocostalis
cordis)
7.2. Diaphragmatic/inferior surface of the heart (Facies diaphragmatica/inferior
cordis )
2
7.3. Right border of the heart ( Margo dexter cordis )
7.4. Left border of the heart ( Margo sinister / obtusus cordis )
7.5. Acute margin of the heart ( Margo acutus codis )
7.6. Sulci of the heart ( sulci cordes ) :
7.6.1 .Anterior interventricular sulcus of the heart ( Sulcus interventricularis
anterior cordis ).
What vessels are located there?
7.6.2. Posterior interventricular sulcus of the heart (Sulcus interventricularis
posterior cordis ).
What vessels are located there?
7.6.3. Coronary sulcus of the heart ( Sulcus coronarius cordis ).
What vessels are located there?
8. Identify chambers of the heart externalli.
SPECIMENS :
1. Cadaver
2. Cor ( Heart )
3. Heart model.
