Gabriel - On Leave —o00- RESOLUTION NO. 2014-56 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE LOCAL SHELTER PLAN 2013-2021 OF THE CITY OF ALAMINOS, PANGASINAN WHEREAS, Section 39 of Repul Act 7279, otherwise known as the “Urban Development and Housing Act of 1992, provides “xx the local government units shall be charged with the implementation of this Act in their respective localities in coordination with the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council, the national housing agencies, the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor, the private sector and other non-government organizations,” WHEREAS, in compliance with this mandate, the Local Government Unit of the City of Alaminos, Pangasinan prepared the Local Shelter Plan 2013-2021 to address the needs of both the formal and informal sector, define the objectives for the development of shelter conditions, provide information on the analysis of local housing situation including the identification of housing problems and future housing needs, and determine the affordability of targeted beneficiaries and identify the Fesources available to meet the objectives and the means by which resources can be used most cost- effectively and set out the responsibilities and time frame for implementing various measures; WHEREAS, the preparation of the Local Shelter Plan of the City of Alaminos was undertaken under the technical guidance of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council-North Luzon; S WHEREAS, to synchronize with the Local Shelter Plan of the Province of Pangasinan, the planning period adopted was 2013-2021; NOW THEREFORE, upon due deliberation on the merits surrounding the issue and on motion of Councilor Rany S. de Leon, co-sponsored by Councilor Jose Antonio Miguel Y. Perez duly seconded by Councilor Perlito V.
